you know, given all ksp2 faults, when you add the ksp2 countdown and music to your launch, it genuinely feels so cool hearing it. It is without question my favorite part of ksp2. If I could have just the ksp2 launch sequence with the music and the countdown and the build up of ice around the tanks baked into ksp1, I think that's the perfect game.

If they try a company and find them liable, they can seize assets within the company, ban them from doing business within the EU, and even lean on international treaties to enforce findings. This is why a bunch of tech startups simply banned users in the EU when the GDPR first came out; they couldn't figure out how to make money without selling user info, so they just avoided doing business in the EU entirely.

If you're wanting to do a Planet Coaster series without ruining your algorithm, you could always make a second account that you can have for everything else you want to do outside of space weekly and KSP. Regarding the color-correction: It's subtle, but the surrounding rocks do look abit washed out with it disabled. It's also refreshing to see you trying out new rocket schemes. I can imagine that attachment system rather than Apollo style for future missions like the manned mission to Mars.

On some of my recent missions, I've done something I've been calling an "extended" Apollo-style setup. basically the mothership is itself split in two parts: the part with the return capsule and engines and fuel and such as one; the other being directly attached to the capsule and having a lab, living space, and so on. and then the lander attaches to the other end of the habitation segment

Never land on Pol without Better Timewarp. I never got better timewarp to work, and when you're moving at speeds of 30-100m/s, with maximum 4x timewarp to get down and back up to orbit around Pol.... Let's say there's more fun to be had watching paint dry 😂 The new Parallax mod looks quite stunning. I hope it gets released to the broader audience soon.

I seriously hope someday some extremely smart people in the community get together and figure out how to make an open source version of KSP. Mods are great, but having played a lot of OpenRCT2, it's awesome having a feeling an upgraded but unified experience from the original version. I have no idea how possible it is to do with a 3D unity game versus a much older game like rct, but I can dream. I've tried out stuff like Juno New Origins, and it just feels so sterile. I am hopeful though that given KSP's place in gaming, and the likelihood that it'll be popular still a decade from now, that maybe by then an open source version could exist.

minmus is green. Val is blue. I actually have landed on Val, but it was a long time ago. Before KSP2 was announced. I did a Jool 5 mission. Like yours it was nuke powered......except for Tylo. I had a special Tylo lander for that. I didn't think Val was that hard. Yes it requires more fuel than the Mun, but it's not that bad.

Hey @MattLowne, DR does the same thing as planetshine so you don't need to include it in your modlist! Learned that the hard way with some weird mod conflicts. Also you might want to turn off HDR in TUFX if you haven't already as it messes with EVE and Vol clouds.

You can land anywhere on Gilly, but it's tedious. The one that drives me nuts Is from the GPP mod. It's called Lilli. The equator spins at escape velocity so you can only land on the poles. It's very wierd. And it's probably smaller than Gilly.

I am a college student with a geology major, that spike is called a hexagonal prism crystal form, similar to quartz when it forms. Not quite sure why it's rounded though. Could be from erosion? Plot twist in Vall's history?
