@@MattLunaFishing So odd to hear, buzzbait is my go to and I’ve caught the most bass on them, I’ve had days where I’ve caught over 10 bass on one. My PB was caught on a mini buzzbait, 2020 spawn 9lber caught right on her bed

When the buzz bait bite is on it can catch a ton, but I’ve found it’s a big fish bait more so than numbers

Do you use epoxy on the band's for strength to keep skirt on & also try coloring just your hook part up to white paint in fire red.This will give you more hits as it will look like the bait is bleeding in regards as same effect of a plastic pour with "bloodline" in it. I've found red hooks give me a lot bigger percentage of hookups on any lure. #EffectiveTip.

I know this video is a couple years old. on the 1/4oz size, using the blade meant for that size, how far down could you trim both ends of the wire form to make a more compact bait? I know the top wire can be cut down to where the blade and rivet would just fit. How much can you trim of the hook end? Can you make the overall length from hook bend to line tie about 3 inches using a 2/0 hook? The application for this would be in small rivers and streams for smallmouth. And I guess while we're at it, could you make the .045 wire fit into the 1/8oz with some "persuation"?

Cutting wire that thick makes it difficult to bend a new loop for the hook. You could probably do whatever you want but You’ll probably need a wire bender in order to get the new loop made
