After a few tries and needing a break from frustration, I figured out the trick. The guards all moved in a pattern that would eventually leave an opening to quickly zip web from shadow to shadow. These segments were divided into little safe areas for you to pay attention to the newer, slightly harder pattern and do it again. I managed to get through the stages pretty quickly and only getting hung up on the very, very last section because it had the shortest window of time and you really needed to thread the needle at the end. @NN0102 жыл бұрын
Damn shame what’s happened to them. They haven’t even had a full 3 year development cycle on their COD games since Black Ops 3 in 2015. BO4 had its campaign cut & replaced with a Battle Royale mode due to an over ambitious concept, Black Ops: Cold War had to be rushed out in 18 months & be a PS5 & Xbox Series S|X launch title & Vanguard Zombies feels like it had even less time than that (combined with having to adjust to a new engine as Vanguard was made with the Modern Warfare (2019) engine instead of what Treyarch have been using & evolving since World at War) with how barebones it is. Hopefully they’ll get at least 3 years to develop their next COD game (which given that Modern Warfare II (2022) is coming this year and the reports of Activision taking a year off next year, seems likely).

Calling something "dated" is a detracting and superficial way of pointing out the time period it came from. Imagine talking about a game from 2002, just to call it "dated" 20 years later. As someone who's completed the bomb mission on the hardest difficulty many times, I can confidently say that it's not random at all. It's hard as hell though, that's for sure. On the superhero difficulty it requires nigh perfect timing, as well as knowing well the enemy placements and the best path from one bomb to another. You also have to consistenly web certain robots before they shoot, because their damage is insane and they can obliterate you in a couple of seconds. Really hated this mission while I was still learning the ins and outs and struggling with it, but now it's my personal highlight of the game. On the hardest difficulty the mission is such an adrenaline rush that there is nothing quite like it in any other Spider-Man game, a really unique and intense skillcheck that could only exist in a Spidey game. Really liked the GBA version as well, although the second Kraven boss fight is a bitch.

It Blew my mind when I learned that you could play the game as Green Goblin and as someone who used the cheats i was like "oh it'll be like the other cheats where its just a skin like how Shocker was just a skin" and then you play as Goblin w/ Glider and has his own set of moves My 9yr old MIND WAS BLOWN AWAY. In another reality someone figured out how to mod in a VS mode for the game where you could play as Goblin Vs Spider or any of the other villains

I remember when Walmart had this game on their game system kiosk, I learned how to unlock Green Goblin and used that in their kiosk. All the other kids around were losing their s**t that I was playing as Green Goblin lol

I remember if you had the original release of this game (which I do have) you could type in a code that lets you be Mary Jane only she was clearly taller to match Spider-Man's height and at the end of the game in this mode Mary Jane makes out with herself. I assume Activision realized their mistake because upon the game's Greatest Hits release they altered it to where you couldn't be Mary Jane but just a random reporter lady and I think the cutscene just shows Spider-Man kissing MJ in that version.

Always a sign of a good Saturday when a new Spider-Matt video drops.

I played this one a lot with a friend when it came out, but I never owned it until many years later. To this day I'm still stuck on that damn bomb mission.

I thought for sure when you mentioned one level being terrible, you were going to mention the Oscorp secret weapon level, not too bad on easy difficulty but practically unplayable on the hard difficulty!

The only memory I have of this game is having a dream one time that you could unlock a "Spider-Woman" by jumping off the tallest building in the game, spinning on the way down, and then jumping into the water. Other than that, all I can say is that I have played it before.
