I used Tarminator for a while, and it works well for the tire prep, but 3M Adhesive Remover is just a bit better. That you can get it in a liquid form rather than an aerosol is one benefit, plus I think it would be better suited to a few other tasks that you use other products for. Dylan is also a big proponent of this particular product, it's really good stuff.

I think I preferred the diamond cut wheels that came on the M5 but I'll reserve judgement until you've finished with all the new parts you're adding to it. Any time I question something you do, I usually end up agreeing with the change! Pumped for the rest of this series!

My theripist told me when dealing with my OCD, as long as it doesnt interfere with your personal or professional life its OK...thats a pretty broad statement since you still get to decide about what interferes...with that said, I like my 2018 Huracan as clean as anyone else and wash and clean it consistently and constantly...your wheel and tire cleaning is over the top for me, and i have a terrible brake dust issues that makes me nuts...stay happy, stay free.

A local detailer uses SystemX. Had the marine grade stuff done on my wheels. Freakin love it. Compared to Opti on my OEM .. no comparison.

Why did you change perl from neat to diluted? Your GT3 video you used straight out the bottle. Does the finish look different?

I found it to last longer. I started diluting per some suggestions in the comments when doing the Raptor tires.

You could get a sort of "Custom steel Arm" fabricated to attach the wheel stand to a vise in the cabinets/workbench, that flimsy table looks a pain to deal with, anyway, I'm enjoying the series as usual, good job.

yeah those rollers are supposed to go one way because they are spring loaded and one end sticks out further. As long as the short end sits at the back and the long at the front, they won't fall out. I need to add that to the instructions for the new stand and I have made the gap shorter so that is less likely to happen even if you put them in backwards. sorry that happened.

i use the carpro cloth and applicators for the paint. I save the g-techniq included finger mitt for the wheels.

When applying the CSL to the rim do you need to be very careful not to get it on the Tyre ?? Or is the Exo more critical ?? Jp

Teach your tire shop to use soapy water instead of "pig grease," as I refer to it. Many of us started life at small-time tire shops. It ain't rocket science as long as the wheels don't get scratched.

You need to research powder coating brake calipers because they have to be stripped and the oven temperature to cure the powder is very high. So my damage the seals. Please look into that before you do it. I just talked to my friend that is a powder coater and he said it would have to be taken apart and rebuilt to do this. He owns his own powder coating business. And just got back to me. He is very good and has done things for many cars that go to SEMA. I sent you an email if you would like to talk with my friend that has the powder coating business.
