My grandfather also used wipes similar to those to clean and neatly coil his cords and all tools at the end of the day. He once lent his power cord to a neighbor one day while we were in the garage. I was very young and just was watching him do various woodworking projects. Yano, usual and I’ll never forget what he had said after the guy returned. He turned to me and said, “remember that you can always see the type of man someone is by looking at their tools and when the day comes that you ask a neighbor or friend for a tool, always return it in the shape or better then when you borrowed it” I always make it a point to clean and organize my tools and that’s 100% because of him and I’d just like to say, you the man Pan!

The right tool for the right job. I still would like to see you put together different levels of kits for beginners and up. Perhaps the kits could be put together in such a way as to entice those of us who would buy at a beginner level and improve to the next level with PTO kits.
@mikepurkey6070
@mikepurkey6070 6 жыл бұрын
It would mainly be great ideal for beginners as they have no clue. But after u get experience itd be a bit harder to find things everyone wants. Also with a beginner package u could put in all the stuff no one actully uses and theyd buy the hell out of it because they dont know better. But this industry is full of snake oil salesmen so half the shit they say u need is not necessarily needed or wanted after trying the product. Some things u do need but really u gotta spend the money or find a friend with said product and try it for urself. U will waste alot of money but u learn and so i guess u pay for lessons....haha....just my thoughts on the situation. Have a good day.

@@PanTheOrganizer One of my RVing buddies used to be an auto detailer. He and his family camped with us in my yard during our independence day weekend. To get my truck ready for the town parade, he detailed it for us. He didn't have time to give me a tutorial, so after they left, I searched it on youtube.....and found your channel. We just got a travel trailer a couple of months ago. I'll end up getting some of your linked supplies to help maintain it, as well as our car and truck fleet. The biggest challenge for us is that we live in a small mountain town that only has 1 paved street; the rest are dirt roads in town. We live right next to the second most popular tourist site in town; which means tons of dust for 7 or 8 months per year.

Just did wonder on my always dirty propane stove top, sink, Lavatory, finger marks on the dark doors surfaces, stainless finish of the refrigerator, all my chrome handles were left with a nice shine for a many days. My stove top is even easier to clean now with a regular rag. I just went on with just one section, well worth the money, and very useful for tools and This can will last.Easy to use, smell good. Nice to have a cleaning wipe that really does the Job and the scrub part is perfect and a big plus.

Another great video! I wish you would do a video showing how to determine if a brush is stiff bristles or soft bristles. Since stiff and soft are relative terms, how do you decide what a particular brush is? For example, in another video you used both a Mothers Wheel Brush and a Mothers Fender Brush. Are they stiff or soft? Are both brushes the same stiffness? Thank you.
@PanTheOrganizer
@PanTheOrganizer 5 жыл бұрын
If the bristles have feathered tips, they typically are soft. If they are individual stirdier nylon or similar material, they are stiff. I go by feeling in the hand. If they feel soft, they’re soft. If not, they’re stiff.

In his statement to police; the homeless man said “ the last thing I remember, before I blacked out, was this crazed man coming at him with a razor with all kind of brushes!” “ when I woke up, my hair was cut, I had a shave and new clean clothes on!” “My tent looked brand new and all must stuff was clean and organized!” In court the victim stood up, pointed at Pan and screamed “ YOU RUINED ME!” The Judge later dismissed the charges after statements from the homeless man’s family and friends. i just use the pressure washer on my wheel wells. except i keep the pressure washer off. my 3yo car rear wells have a carpet like material there for some reason. front is the usual plastic. for a squeegee i use a RainX wiper blade off my previous car. its has a 24" reach. one pass on my rear window takes about 90% of the morning dew off. Foam cannons are great fun to use. I used so much less soap to cover my car in thick suds than i expected. I only paid $17 for one. I highly recommend one. it made the washing part a lot quicker.

Hello pan ! Awesome video ! But you forgot to mention how do you wash the clay towels. Do you clean the clay towels the same way as microfiber towels ?

You simply rinse the clay towels after use. Zero maintenance.

@PanTheOrganizer
@PanTheOrganizer 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Dave! There isn't a "best size" for pads. It really depends on what polisher you have. If you have a polisher with a 5 inch backing plate, you get a 5 inch pad. If you have a 6 inch, you get a 6 inch pad. And so on.

I just use a dedicated tire dressing foam applicator. It always serves the same purpose, so when I'm done, I just lay it face down on an old microfiber towel until the next use. I use this one: amzn.to/3873ckB

I like to use dryer sheets with a lubricant to remove bugs and such from the front of the vehicle and side mirrors, do you think the wipes would work in this way? By the looks of it they seem to have the same look and feel of a dryer sheet but I could be wrong. Just kinda sparked my curiosity.

It could potentially lightly do some marring on gloss black wheels but that’s about it. Works fine on all other wheels. On my gloss black wheels of my new Porsche 911 Turbo S, I use a microfiber brush. Watch my video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXakl5aVgbqCaqc

Pan, love your videos. I do have a question. How do you clean / store your tire dressing applicator? I never know what's the best approach because I don't want to wash it in my machine cause I don't want to get the product on my washing machine. But I don't want to store it uncleaned. Suggestions?
@PanTheOrganizer
@PanTheOrganizer 3 жыл бұрын
Since my dressing applicator is only for dressings, I simply put it face down on an old microfiber towel after each use, no real cleaning needed. Once it gets too old, I replace it with a new one.

Great video Pan, oodles and oodles of valuable info on tools and tips of the trade. Good sound and video all the way through. My ONLY comment and feedback that I've noticed about the footage, and it's no bigs, is when you grab a product to bring close to the camera for the viewers to see up close and to read. When you bring the product up close for the viewers to see and in some cases to read what's on the label, Try not to bring it too close. Your vid cam can't focus on items that close. It could also be that the "auto-focus" feature is ONLY set to focus on items that are in the center frame. This could be the problem. Either that, or give the camera a little longer to focus on what you're holding up. I know the tendency is to want to keep it moving and not to linger, but you can always defer from that by giving more in depth info on the item while you're holding the item steady....until the camera catches up and brings it into focus. I noticed that's what I think you were trying to do, but many times you rush through it and the vid cam never quite catches up. Like I said, it most CERTAINLY does not give you a fail because of that, not by a long shot, because your videos are always chock full of useful information. But if you want to go from ALLLLLLLLMOST perfect, to PERFECT ??? . . . . that's all you need to do and as they say "Bob's your f**king UNCLE" !!! You will hit a home run brother. Looking forward to seeing more of your vids and how to's during this self isolation period.

Hey pan! Would you be able to type out how much you typically charge for your services to get an idea? Such as a basic wash, a detailed wash, wax etc..?I don't know what exactly to charge my customers yet. I'm just starting.
@PanTheOrganizer
@PanTheOrganizer 6 жыл бұрын
Hi! Unfortunately I never discuss prices on KZbin. It wouldn’t do you much good anyways as I have been detailing for over 21 years and prices go hand in hand with the detailer’s experience. So if you’re starting, you obviously can’t charge the same as somebody who’s been detailing for 20+ years, and you probably should start with basic car wash services. Also, as prices vary a lot for many factors including experience, country and even which city you live in, demographics, etc. My best suggestion would be for you to see what your local detailers offer and their prices, as you have to be strategic and competitive as far as your pricing goes. You should also watch my popular three part series on how to start your detailing business. Here’s part 1: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5TTZX9ti659kNU
