Matt! I work in the engineering lab at Milwaukee Tool and I wanted to let you know that corporate just sent out their usual “Milwaukee in the news” email...and it highlighted and had a link to THIS VIDEO in it!!!!!! How cool is that?

I love my fuel lineup. Have tons of Milwaukee products. Auto mechanic, then went to electrical work, and back to mechanic work now so I have a good bit. I would never justify paying Mac or snap on price when Milwaukee is right there with them.

I clicked on the video so fast, it’s still in 320p. 🤣 not even done rendering yet. Great title. I’m here for the compact and mid torques. I also think the main purpose behind OneKey is inventory and asset tracking. Which also offers geofencing, to keep track of your tools when you may have 10 or more tools on a big job. If one walks off, you get notified.

Extended anvil allows me to put a double side socket on it for working on 2 cars at once. When taking off tires saves time with taking off lugs... if you have a shop that can deal with the flow
@andrewhurstcars
@andrewhurstcars 3 жыл бұрын
Nice review Matt. I don’t think an extended anvil on the mid-torque would be very popular, as it would limit its use in tight spaces. A way around this is to use extended impact sockets like Facom make. The mid-torque as shown here looks ideal. I’m sure you’ll soon have custom branded Obsessed Garage Milwaukee power tools in blue!

Serious question can you explain to me why you would ever need 50 plus batteries that’s absurd and a waste of money I could see haven 10-20 which I do but they die over time buying 50 at once for a og master set just means you’ll need 50 again once they all die which they will why not make price of entry less cut the batteries in half to maybe 25 because let’s be honest that’s where a lot of the 14k comes from In the cost of the og master set. Please respond

@Obsessed Garage Lets just say there was someone who was not a mechanic by trade yet wanted to purchase one impact wrench to cover a large majority of tasks I would choose the 1/2" too. I understand that its not a one size fits all and that's why they make different size anvils but generally speaking the 1/2" mid torque is a great middle ground without having to spend hundreds more on multiple other tools (compacts, high torque etc.). We all know adapting one way or another does minimize impacting power to some degree, so I would rather have the 1/2" socket direct for the stubborn larger fasteners and adapt down to 3/8" for some smaller applications where if I lost some power it wouldn't be as big of a deal. Its all relative to everyone's use case, but if I had to choose, it would be the 1/2" over say the 3/8" any day.
@mattblvck6540
@mattblvck6540 3 жыл бұрын
@@tonytrofe7137 agreed. I also run 1/2” on all of my impacts. Not a professional mechanic by any means, but I work on cars often enough to warrant my own impacts. I’d rather use 1/2 and get the full capability of the impact wrench, adapt down for less power on smaller fasteners. Also, 1/2” impact sockets cover a wider range. You can find 8mm all the way up to just about any size you need, whereas 3/8 will only provide you 6-24mm usually. For me, anything less than 8mm I’m using my impact driver with the 3/8 adapter or wrenching by hand.

This video as well as most of the commenters is absolutely hilarious! Grown men with nothing better to do buying tools just for the hell of it! Actual Mechanics will usually purchase their tools as they find themselves in a situation where it is needed, But in here it seems like everyone is just buying tools without even knowing when or why they will be needed! You have a garage and a compressor, Just purchase one 1/2 inch and one 3/8 inch pneumatic impact gun! And for when you need something portable just purchase the 20V+ CORDLESS INFINIUM™ 1/2" HIGH PERFORMANCE IMPACT WRENCH, It has 1600ft. lbs of breakaway torque and 850ft. lbs of working torque! And no I am not a salesman I am an actual Auto Technician who actually uses tools to support my family and my business! It is just crazy to see how many people are actually asking for advice on tools from a person who clearly has no real world experience! On top of that he actually went to a sales rep for the actual company, That is like going to a car dealership and asking the Salesman how good is the car! This is clearly a paid sponsorship, There is no way he bought all of those tools retail! If you are going to spend your hard earned money on some expensive tools you should really go ask a person that actually uses these tools on a daily basis!

I own and used to use their air impacts vigorously and they were second to none. I had the 1/2" and 3/8". No other brand I tried could top those in any catagory. Only reason I don't use them anymore is because I've converted over to cordless but air definitely still has it's place.

As soon as you see the full line up, the boxes, and new product and everything is clean AF, and you listen to 3 min of it, it’s pretty obvious. Kinda too bad to see how things progress, unless you like watching long commercials. I can’t get thru more than a few minutes and reading a few comments and now I think I’m out.
