Matt, I know you've been thinking about the green/blue/red/black multi-pack problem for a while. Apparently you got them to provide only black, so this advice is a little late. I used to run a small snack store which used wholesale products provided in multi-packs I could not split up. I mostly solved the problem by marking up the desired products some and maybe marking down the less desirable items. You could do $30 for the green, $35 for the blue/red, and $40 for the black. This way people get what they want, and you get what you want. Adjust prices until you get to some homeostasis. Typically at a higher total margin to boot. This may help if they can't continue to provide all-black. Or it may help with some other product down the line.

I just had a Prier hot and cold hose bib installed in my garage to feed my OG spec hose setup (lead in hose, 50 ft hose, quick disconnects from OG, on an Eley reel). Definitely need to add one of these! I’d like to do a separate bucket filler, but would want to do something to branch off of the output of the Prier bib to feed the bucket filler and hose reel and have separate valves for those. Too many cold months here in NY to be using ice cold water.

I make these same hoses. Mine are red in color and I have them made for me in 200”(16.6 ft) and in 27’ sections I got 5 or 6 of each size and put them on my titan hose reels staggered short section then long section and I pull out just what I need to reach the water source. I have flow tested many of the quick couplers and the FULL flow Eley ones have way way better flow. I use a great plains industries digital turbine flow meter its TM075, I have several and they are very accurate, I am ordering the 3000 psi rated one this week to check flow on my power washers. For normal use of a garden hose nozzle there is truly no substitute for the performance of the standard Gilmore nozzle, although they go bad fast they are still worth it so I just buy them in bulk but I am using them with chemicals as well.

I dont see how this adds anything to just filling up my bucket?? I mean we dont need a 200$ plus hose for this. sure it looks nice but its way to bulky in my opinion. I just put it under the water tap or fosset thing, turn it on and voila. Sure i get the blue hose if you need a short hose. still to bulky for a normal water tap but it doesnt leak water which is something we want. but im not gonna put that huge knob on the hose, that looks ridiculous. we just need to get the water from the water tap to the bucket with leaks and water spills. for connecting a pressure washer, sure i want one. but for just filling a bucket its a bit ridiculous, but thats my opinion. You might want to check your judgement barometer. I've heard that exact same argument over and over again from the second I put my first tee-shirt up for sale. Profit and money are a result of the specific knowledge that I have acquired and am now sharing and selling based upon. I sell the solutions that I am using in my garage for my own needs. By proxy others would like to replicate this. So to answer your question, yes I know what you are talking about. And yes, I'm going to be rich as heck from involving people that want the same thing I want. Rational, intelligent people understand this very well and are happy to participate in the construction of something great. This hose nozzle is on my bucket filler at my wash bay getting used by me over and over. I like it more than the more expensive one. The choice I've made has significant value to others. Me making $20 bucks on a hose nozzle angers no one that has success of their own that occupies their focus.
