Very, very nice. Like that you've combined melody with solo, and not just playing scale solos. Nice job.. radio worthy smoothness.

Man I can tell how much you enjoy playing like this!!! Awesome music, beautiful smooth jazz!!! Maybe you could give us a little smile... but I still think you are great!!!

I believe you are my favorite and most influential of all the jazz guitarists that I have heard ! Your music sounds like it comes from within and not just a lot of scales and arpegios. I have always been in the rock/blues/country scene, but now I am delving into the Jazz scene. I have a long way to go, but I'll get there. Thanks for the influence !

I'm 17, not that age really matters, but this kind of musical is very calming and inspirational. Jazz songs constantly change and evolve into something new, I'd love to be able to play something like this.

Love your sound man. Who said smooth jazz is dead? As long as we keep making "good smooth" it won't die.

@ikidskills Same with me, I'm 23 now but being brought up as a musician from the age of 6 by parents who have quite a musical background themselves, I've grown to adore 'real' music. I definitely prefer to listen to anything brass band or jazz sometimes even funk. But actally being in the gold coast brass band where I live has taught me to appreciate it even more. I love the feeling and how it sets the mood far greater than anything mainstream ever will.

Hey Matt, super tasteful as always! In fact seeing that you have put out so many lessons on the net, why don;t you make one on being tasteful in ones solos. Stuff about phrasing, timimg, note choices etc. You are definitely the guy to teach about that.
