Hi Andy, just want to say , I love the way teach without making it so confusing! Question do u count in your head when playing the phrase over each chord? I have a hard time hearing when the chord changes! Thanks 🙏
@AndyDacoulis Жыл бұрын
@@satchrules101Counting will definitely help when you are learning the tune or the chord progression. I don't count so much as I am used to feeling when 4 bars pass. I find it helps to just play the rhythm guitar part for a few minutes before attempting the licks. It'll help you internalize the time. Good luck!

Thanks for this! You make it look so easy. I'm a rock lead guitarist who's mystified by jazz. I'm studying the altered scale to try to understand jazz and your video will be very helpful.

This is so good. The chords you have chosen really opens up my eyes for making a melody that aims for the flat 9 and sharp 5 to create tension before moving over to the more melodic parts. Fab! Thanks 😊

Can you give away how you obtain that great tone?
@AndyDacoulis11 ай бұрын
Hi Bjarne - I use the Line 6 Helix for the tones in my videos. I usually use the Mesa Boogie Lonestar as the amp model. After that, the usual suspects - reverb, compression, and a stereo delay.
@bjarnesegaard570111 ай бұрын
@@AndyDacoulis thanks Andy - you have a great tone
