its best you pay for consumer reports website $10 for digital access or pay for year round digital access, i think thats $30. what you do for mattress to the best of my memory is you buy based on how it rates for your size. so i think i was tall so i clicked off side sleeper tall, back sleeper tall, and i wanted something that was more soft, and i didnt care about how easy it is to turn around in it. and then read consumer reviews on consumer reports for each mattress page bc i recall there being one i was interested in but it. i ended up getting the 14 inch classic brands for free actually because wayfair shipped me an expired one 2x in a row, and then they refunded my money. my mattress isnt level on the edges but its good enough i find although not good enough to pay $400 for.

Given how there are 30, 60 and even 100 night return policies, how likely is it I will get a mattress that someone used then returned?

I usually love the mattresses in hotels. How do they get it right so often? Is there a type/level of firmness the hospitality industry tends to use because it appeals to most people? Also, I doubt many feel comfortable lying for 15 minutes on a mattress in a store during a pandemic, but maybe that’s just me.

Most libraries have Consumer Rrports in their magazine section. So do alot of doctors and dentists office waiting rooms.

The 'cost' is the subscription, which is only $26/year, which is negligible...& far less than even a Costco membership.
