Here in Phoenix, I couldn't stand the dryness any longer and so I finally purchased one.

Another difference between the warm mist and the ultrasonic is that the warm mist acts as a distiller and leaves the minerals behind. When we use an ultrasonic one, the minerals are blasted up into the air and get inhaled with the vapor. Both of us had horrible chest congestion when using the ultrasonic version. We have switched back to the warm mist version and have been fine ever since.

I wish I had seen this before, I just got an ultrasonic one, do you think using pure distilled water would combat this issue??
@AAxis032 жыл бұрын
@@niagreen3404 yes, that should be fine.
@rajahzia Жыл бұрын
@@niagreen3404 only distilled water should be used whether its warm or cool mist as you dont wont the salts to clog the system.

@@rajahziathe one I bought says to use tap water only 🤔

@@niagreen3404 If you can offord distilled water that is BEST, the problem sort of referenced here is that an "ultrasonic" not properly cleaned can spread an infection better then being sneezed on ! (an OLD Respiratory Therapist)

I picked this up for work. My last one was smaller kzbin.infoUgkxtD9aJ2m6GU-X1IChQxjn9l31K1A7Kpwj and cuter but the motor burned out within a few months. This one's footprint is a tad bigger but it still doesn't eat up a lot of desk space. Its size and shape blends into the background nicely. This has a good size water container so I don't need to refill more than once a week. I use filtered (not distilled) water because cleaning up after our hard water is tough at work. I like that this has several settings. It's also very quiet. (I have a silence naxi in the next cubicle.) It also hasn't left that terrible while powder, so far, that some humidifiers leave. Been using this for a month or so now and am very happy with my purchase.

I just bought one at a second hand store for $5. It works great! I put a drop of essential oil into the water and it is AWESOME!

Coats the lungs and nasal passages with H20 so pollen does not dry you up. This is why in humid environments people do not suffer from allergies

He said that with warm mist humidifiers it vaporizes it by heating and cool mist humidifiers vibrate it so fast that it becomes small enough to evaporate

Hi Tony, Ken in ohio here. I guess my 2 main questions would be would a humidifier help with night time dry mouth, and would using one pose a threat to electrical devices such as a fan?
