The little jeep that can. You guys should make a children's book about how the "Yellow Banana" can save the day. Bury the Tesla.

I loved the Tesla’s owners answer. We didn’t know there was sand here. Uhhh you’re in the desert, that isn’t asphalt your driving on there Hass, from the instant you left the highway it was solid sand. And you’re in the middle of nowhere in a car that’s 3” off the ground with skinny street tires. But it’s okay it has AWD. 🤦♂️

Regarding pulling in reverse vs forward: one has to remember that the Banana is a purpose built rig camouflaged as an XJ. Add years of experience and the knowledge of the terrain and that makes Matt and the team a bunch of magicians.

Having spent some time in the San Diego California area and driving a bit on sand in the Mojave desert and Anza Borrego desert as well as some driving on sandy beaches in Oregon and Washington State, it looks to me like the sand people are getting stuck in on your videos is much trickier than the sand I've driven in.
