@doug1122448 ай бұрын
@jordanlambourne5230 once you put the transfer case in low range the engine and transmission are out of the equation. Besides if I remember correctly that engine has been worked on and makes 250 HP which is more than a lot of trucks make. My 1990 F350 had a 7.3l diesel and made 170HP, my 1989 F250 with a 5.8l gas motor makes 210. A lot of 50s single axle dump trucks has inline 6-cylinders that made less that 150 HP. A 25 HP farm tractor with enough weight on the front to keep it from going up into the air would move that trailer. I once moved a 70' house trailer with a 50HP tractor. A guy I used to work for helped put more than one 70' house trailer in position with a John Deere A which was also 26 HP

The trick to easy cleaning after "mudding" is spraying everything with a good coat of cooking spray. That oil coat will help the mud fall off after. Works everytime. Sometimes it's inexperience, and others it's the looks that are deceiving. Where I grew up, they would treat dirt roads with a chemical that makes it look wet, so it was pretty easy to confuse a treated dirt road and a muddy road. Obviously there are signs of the roads being frequently traveled versus ones that aren't but still lol. A lot of people in these situations on this channel seem to be tourists. The area is beautiful, so it's to be expected that people with little to no knowledge of stuff like this find themselves in these situations while trying to go and sight see

Isnt it dangerous to attach to a hitch on a heavy pull? Thinking of the unfortunate fatal Colorodo tow hitch and ball through the windshield

Sometimes you gotta take those risks unfortunately

So we got a call. In todays episode: MORR gets sponsored by Google, TomTom almost loses a finger to the plasma cutter, and Jake receives his cape and crown for being King of the Garage.

It’s cool seeing your boys grow up, gaining confidence, maintaining respect. Teenage years are so hard. Probably not always perfect but keeping it the opposite of Orange County Choppers is good wholesome TV… on my phone.

the last time I heard Matt sing a song it was stuck in my head for days....."Robyn Hood and Little John walking through the forest. Laughing back and forth at what the other has to say" Brings me back to say the least

Matt, Your new shop space would be much better if you had an overhead crane set-up. Lifts are great, but adding the ability to pull out engines etc. from above is a huge improvement! When you need it, you need it!

Matt you are a really good parent. You have taught a lot of young people about driving in adverse conditions

I love that you (Matt ) are always teaching every one around you what to do as apposed to just being the hero, very smart Obi-Wan.

That Banana is a Beast!!! That was amazing watching that thing just dig that trailer right out. Very cool I love how you get out the way of your kids and let them learn how to do these jobs.

I really enjoyed this video! As much as I’ve enjoyed all the builds like the heavy wrecker and the Morrvair and the cool stuff you guys do with them, this one brought me back to what got me hooked on this channel to begin with. Just Matt the Banana and a Yankum Rope! And with Colin along it’s even better!

I had a moment's doubt about pulling that trailor but you got'erdone. Just a suggestion that you get two wat radios for coms between drivers and overseers. Those times when you callled for, "Stop, Stop, Stop", were not heard over the engine noises.

I think I've had my fill of mud rescues all in this one video. Good thing that's not normal for you guys. It looks like it will be loads of "fun" cleaning it, and will leave a deep pile of mud wherever it gets cleaned at.

Beyond impressed with the Banana pulling out that trailer full of wood. That it could pull it at all was pretty impressive but in those conditions? Amazing!

Living in Minnesota as youth driving and goofing around on frozen lakes helps you learn to drive on slippery conditions. My youngest took it to the extreme, he use to give friends a ride to school in his 4wd ranger. He got the nickname danger ranger from his driving. We heard stories thru the grapevine. Although one time he misjudged his stopping distance and put his truck thru the garage door

I love you guys! No profanity, no angry feminists, no disrespect for LE.... You're really skilled, Matt, and I learn so much watching your vids, especially when you explain why you make the decisions you do. Best to all your family!
