I've watched Matt and James for years now, and it has never dawned on me that they look so much alike. That's hilarious that they made a joke about it. I'm so happy for this collaboration. How brave is Matt at letting others pedal the machines , remembering that they are his livelihood,any loss of one of them has an impact . Interesting point about the throttle cable issue,and one may think that a in house build needs complete follow through by the original builder ,they have done things their way for a reason ,and then having another team work on it opens up the possibility of different thinking ,bit like Ford working on upgrades on a Tesla and vis versa

It really is easy. Do you honestly believe that he doesn't take the hardest route to get to the stuck vehicle? Some of the videos he edits in trails or routes not even near the rescue. Kinda like Swamp People. Do you really think hunting gators is like that? They fight with them and eveytime the shoot the water splashes them in the face? Hahaha. Dude, I've done it. Most of the time you ease them to the surface because they're already dead tired from trying to free themselves. Then -pop- and it's done.

It was a treat to watch both these guys work through the trials, demonstrating some serious driving skills in some strange and unique vehicles. I've been working on trucks and jeeps most of the last fifty years, I don't think I've seen better although I've enjoyed many strange scenes. I had two uncles with jeeps and crawling in the desert back in the seventies and eighties, never got up as high as I've watched here on Matt's channel. Thanks for the memories!

Edit: I have to add that Edd is an animal. Love the man. He reminds me so much of my 91 y.o. father who is Marine and a retired over the road trucker. Salty as fu.... well you know. I moved into a new house, years ago and dad was there to help. The new neighbor was talking about how great of a driver he was. Dad told him, 'Well done big strapper, but I have pis**d on more pavement than you have driven'. It took me years to get good with that neighbor lol. James has great throttle control. You can tell he is a driver. Well done dude, first time or not.
