As a 10 year plus machinist i'd put tom at an engineer level. Most tolerances I see called out on blueprints are way "over engineered" and will work regardless if they actually fall in that range or not.

It looks like they do not know how to drill steal. It is not how fast but how Slow you go to allow the drill bit to cut into the metal. You should normally use some sort of cutting oil for lubrication and to dissipate heat. The bit will cut better if it does not overheat. Going too fast just generates heat and dull the bit.

Thank you for over an hour of great content. This channel has slowly become possibly my favorite of all on KZbin. It’s always consistent, and always entertaining. I know there’s a ton of work that goes into making an hour long video like this, and I appreciate all of it from Matt, Tom, and Lizzy doin the dirty work, to the cameramen standing on their feet all day recording everything, to the editors going through probably hundreds of hours of footage every week and cutting together a nice cohesive story. A video this long on KZbin can sometimes feel like a slog to get through parts of it, but this was fully entertaining start to end and everyone working on this stuff is just doing such an amazing job and I wanna say thanks for making my Sunday morning so nice. I look forward to the Sunday videos because they’re so good and this one might be the best yet.

Love watching Matt and Tom work together. Tom measures it with a micrometer, Matt marks it with a crayon then cuts it with an axe. Lmao 🤣😂 But in the end it all seems to work and work very well. Keep up the great work guys!

Have you ever considered a big semi or train air-horn for the “Big Tow?” K4LA train horns would look damn cool sitting up on top of that cab! - Maybe include an optional second (wimpy) foreign car horn under the hood for when you’re working close to spotters or spectators to minimize risk of heart attack.

Perhaps I am mistaken, but I thought Matt received some horns at the beginning of the build. On the other hand, I could have confused the horns Robby or Paul received with Matt receiving a set.🙄

Great job guys and girl! Couldn't do what you do every day, amazing skills and inguinity right on the spot getting things done! If you ever have the issue that the seal area is too short, give the shaft to a machinist and have him spray weld and then turn it down to size and then grind it.

That was an epic video again. The continuity on those upgrades was really nice to watch. Then the testing went beautifully too. Great to see Ed again and hopefully it won't be long until he's all healed up. Thanks for the video.

Hey, Matt, you helped a lot of people do a lot of good things I don't know. Don't leave comments, but over the last 9 months, you helped me a lot. And it's hard for me to say that. You made me laugh when I wanted to cry. Cause I lost my wife 9 months ago. I started watching you and like I said. Most of your videos made me laugh when I wanted to cry. Thank you very much for your help

Matt, What I admire about you is you have a large Intestinal Fortitude . Like myself, when people including all of the so called Professionals, Sat there is no way, I am just a Hard Headed Missourian who is going to prove it will. I had a 1950 Champion 4 Door Studebaker that needed new front fenders and all I could fins were 1951 and all the Big Studebaker Driver's Club members swore they would not fir. When I measured the Outer fenders they were the same, It was the Inner fender that was different. I took spot weld cutters and drilled out all of the spot welds on both sets of fenders and proceeded to put my car together. When I drove it to a Studebaker Meet that praised my work and ask where I found the Fenders. When Told them they were the 51, fenders they could not believe it. I have proven many so called experts they were not as expert as they thought.. Matt, I really am beginning to enjoy your site that I am feeling a lot better thanks to control of my diabetes. Never did I know the change I was experiencing until I started taking Pure Kana Gummies and man they have started making a great change in my health and a remarkable change in my Wife's Alzheimer's Dementia. She has started walking around the neighborhood after over three years being shut up on our property. She takes our Pit Bull and the Dog makes sure she is ok and gets back home. We still hope tomeet you on our last trip we will ever be taking across the Western United States again. At 84 years, you can't expect much, But I am still planning two tripe, One driving my 51 Studebaker Pickup towing my1901 Oldsmobile on my last trip with them and then fly back to California and drive my Winnebago on the same trip to Missouri if I last that long. I have tried and tried to find help, But it is nowhere to be had. .

I think if you sipe your tires you can gain 25% more traction in all conditions. The razor slits just improve traction tremendously. Watching you guys cut slice dice grind parts to conform to your will is amazing. Very few people in the world can do that.

Perhaps Matt is oblivious about it or considers his friendship with TomTom as strong enough to survive these small clashes over procedures and decision making. Best thing someone can do, is hire TomTom. Either as a Techician or Quality Control, TomTom is awesome.
