@@TheSiprianus They have made a lot of money, they can do that stuff for fun. They get tires for free, you know how much one tire is on the heavy wrecker? I have 40"s on my M37 and it was $4300 for five unused XZL tires from 2019. Once you get sponsors and that deep subscriber money you have to look at a lot of the benefits they get, like free stuff. They get winches and everything else they mention for free because they know a million people are going to see it. All those guys who help them and bring stuff to put on their vehicles or modify something are giving them a deep discount or for free.

Yep that first dude was stuck. Once as a kid dad let me skip school on the first day of fishing season, for, fishing. We had his blue 91 Chevy blazer, and going down the path beside a field, the tractor had cut too far out from the field into the path, making it much more narrow than usual. Cue 2 hours later, the truck was buried to the frame on the passenger side, both tires weren't visible anymore under the mud. We walked what felt like forever before meeting a tractor (farm area thankfully lol), and he just happened to have the bucket with a chain on it. He had to literally lift the Blazer out of the mud one end at a time to get it out of there. Then since school was due to be over soon, and dads gf home not long after, we had to book it home, clean the truck, and get changed so she thought I actually went to school that day 😂 good times

On the HMMWV recovery: Jack up the truck, take off the wheel, remove the half shaft retaining bolt, pull the axle out of the geared hub, pull the half shaft out, stuff a rag in the geared hub to keep dust out, then remount the the wheel. -- On driving out in "two wheel drive," if encountering obstacles, get "three wheel drive" by modulating the brakes to "lock up" the Torsen differential.

I rescued a Toyota Tacoma once on my XJ. He had 4wd and was stuck. I locked in to pull him out. Got him back going then I shifted to 2wd and drove through the ditch he was stuck in and circled around him twice before driving back to the highway using only 2wd.. He had to lock in and leave it to get back to the highway... Nothing compares to an old Jeep.. Mine was stock with upgraded shocks and 30 x 9.5 - 15 BFG All Terrains.. His Taco was lifted, 33s .. Looked Good, but couldn't hold a flame to my grocery getter 👍

The location of the first truck I have driven that road probably six times in the past two weeks in my side by side. I have a brother in Kanarraville, I live in Pine Valley so that's the short cut, over the past two weeks that is the first of four vehicles I have seen stuck in thew same spot. It has actually gotten worst with all the craters left from vehicle recovery. Told my brother not coming to see him for a while tell that spot dries up a little. About 75' up the road from where that truck was stuck in the mud, it actually gets worse, very large deep mud pits.

Yeah he looks a little tired and possibly mildly concussed. Moving pretty gingerly too....

I have an idea , you should build a big heavy off-road wrecker ! This looks like a good recovery for the giant wrecker .

I had one of the bubble level angle indicators in my Jeeps. Didn't tell me what the steering wheel position was though. The less electronic do-dads in my Jeeps the better

That right there is why I hate that design for a front brushguard who in their right mind though hinging the fron guard so that it drops infront of the vehicle was a good idea, needs their head examined lol that was definitely an engineer lol❤😂😂😂

That hood hinges in the front. If the brush guard didn’t tip forward you couldn’t open the hood without having to completely remove the guard. Normally there’s something there to limit how far the guard can go so it doesn’t fall that far.

That mud that suctions things down like that is impressive. I deal with muskeg up here in Alaska and it does the same thing but I don’t think it’s near that bad. It will rip your boot off but not every step lol
