Yes I did notice some turbo lag, but less than what a regular turbo charger would have

Hey @Matt The Carguy, Nice review! Quick question: How come this C43 AMG doesn't come with the embossed Affalterbach logo on the front seats headrests of the regular black leather seats with red stitching? I've seen that on a C43 AMG with similar specs from a youtuber in Europe.

Some of the spescs are different for European models. I sent a request go my contactbto check if its even available to order here. As soon as i hear back i will update it.

I just heard back from my contact and these are the only seats available in US so there is no option to upgrade the headrests. It may be possible to just order headrests from Europe.

Those headlights aren't the ones that dance. This vehicle does not have the upgraded digital headlights. Also the previous c43 did have the dials as an option. Nice review, thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see these in person.

Beautiful car, but it stands no chance against the M340i. Overly complex for little to no gain in performance over the previous V6 C43 and the sound of that engine is terrible. This should have been the new I6. Huge mistake.

Its a different experience. BMW inline 6 are awesome engines. I just tested out the new M4c and its a beast. I would like to see Mercedes going similar road but dont discount the 4 cyl. It is still an awesome car.

@@MercOne What I'm really interested to see, is how the electrified turbo performs. Heard there's no turbo lags, but I'll have to test drive to find out what that really means.

W206 C43 owner here. There is no turbo lag. It acts like a supercharged car, instant power when you punch the gas. In S+ at 3/4 throttle you can hear the turbo whistle. It has good pickup under throttle, and in S+ the M193l sounds fine-it doesn’t have the bark of the M276 DELA30 V6 or the rumble of a V8, but it has its own personality. I like it.

Not sure about that. They are both 2 liter 4 cyl but the CLA45 does not have hybrid assist and electric exhaust-gas turbocharger. So I think its a different configuration.
