Hey man, might not seem like it is worth it, but stick to it. No one in any genre I have seen explains things as clearly and efficiently as you. Combine that with truly unique ideas and an entertaining delivery and well, just start doing videos. Once you reach critical mass, you will be huge. So much better in explainig and unique ideas than pretty much every other project, car camping etc. creators out there.

@@MattTheDesigner I don't know anything, but based on your competition, your labour of love will have zero chance of not succeeding. If I could buy stock in you, I would withdraw my Luna from FTX and forego any diversification to hold 100% of your KZbin creator stock (may not be the best analogy). Every project you have done is done 100x the same old way by other creators, all of yours are truly original, practical, easy to understand and duplicate with your videos and aesthetically pleasing. Please quit your job and do this full time.

That's an awesome upgrade from reflectix. You could even carpet the interior side to help mute sound as well and just provide a less harsh internal recording environment too if you wanted.

@utubestalkerdotcom 6 ай бұрын
instead of the ABS plastic panel that will set you back a few hundred for all the windows.. and carpeting can create mold under the fibers from condensation.. what about thin foam poster board? the foam doesn't have fibers that can trap moisture, comes in color black, easy to cut, can act as an insolation, and it's a lot cheaper. you could reuse campaign political signs and just recolor one side, to make this project as cheap as possible

Nice build! Random note for someone not wanting to fashion their own fan contraption: they make solar/battery powered window fans that hook over the top of the window and work really well. The hook width is usually enough to accommodate something like this as well, though certainly far bulkier. But if you're already doing this, might as well go all the way & do your own fan. If you do go that route, might as well add a couple of simple square hooks at the top of this to hang on that same window edge rather than relying on friction/gasket.

You are so funny XD The moment your hair flew away, I woke up the entire building with my laugh. I love your ideas and your designs. Totally my style and totally doable. Do you plan to mount a solar panel on your roof? I would be curious to know how you would do it.
@MattTheDesigner
@MattTheDesigner Жыл бұрын
I’ve experimented with some smaller panels and realized we usually camp where there are trees and only really pulled in power on the road. So it’d need to be a decent size panel to take advantage of the days the rig is actually in the sun which would limit space on the roof for extra gear. All that to say… yes I’d like to but not sure exactly what to do yet. 🙃

Matt, have you ever thought about inventing/ designing/ building/ installing turnable front seats in your passenger car? Turnable seats are available for RVs, but not for cars as you may know. The turning mechanism needs to be slightly more sophisticated than that for a RV. But yeah, that would be the icing on the cake of a passenger camping car.

Amazon features swivel seat bracket units with a large center pivot hole for seat wiring starting at $160. A bracket would need to be welded up to fit the individual vehicle. My van has a heat vent that I would need to clear under my seat for its continued use. I am toying with the idea of a junk yard seat pedestal and removing a center strip and modifying the pedestal to accept the swivel unit. Object here to install the swivel with no change in height or mounting. Early days for this project yet. ABS cement for plumbing would take the place of screws.
