Hi Eric! Love these techniques shared. I got my cushions into 4 parts so in the future I can implement the sofa bed technique! I missed if you shared somewhere how you applied the LED strip non-permanently? Did you use pins or what type of adhesive? The sienna Facebook group is curious!

Greetings from Reno/Lake Tahoe. Like all your other admirers, I am thankful and grateful how much information you share about all your van build experiences. A friend and I are just finishing your design of a wonderful sofa/bed for a 2010 Sienna and will soon start on cabinets. Thanks for being so generous with your sharing! Curious: what career did you have before turning to #VanLife? How much engineering/ carpentry skills do you have? I suggest you make a video to tell us about your life- your fans will enjoy it!

Window tinters cut the tint from the outside window so I’m just curious if it would be easier to still trace on the outside so you don’t have the plastic interference that you do inside stuff following the rule of making it larger than the window itself ? Just curious if there was a reason to not use the outside method?

So long as the rain protectors where not in place already-I was wondering the same thing 👍 Looking forward to the screening

The window cover will be installed in the inside side. The template must be done to fit the inside contour.... Also, from the outside you would have the window tinter in your way... You need a template that cover the whole window. This template will also be needed for the mosquito screen... a future video...✌️

Love your vids & appreciate it so very much! My lifelong dream since 4 yrs old is to someday have remote land so I can allow others to have "a soft place to land" & after just over 4 decades now of my life, I now see Van life as my way to make that happen much faster & in a way affordable enough to bring it to fruition, as opposed to costly tiny homes. Plus no zoning worries to deal with either this way. I'd love to build some cobb structures on that dream land too but mainly fill it w/vehicles that have been transformed into tiny homes or at least offer space for people to come in their own vehicles for have a nice hassle free place to park & build a bonfire in season etc. Thank You for all you do for the world, your & Bob's channel have renewed my zeal to keep hold of my vision until it fully realizes. I am viewing from Livonia, MI, US 💜

Weee...got so giddy when I saw a new video from you! You definitely offer the most comprehensive, well explained, and thoughtful ideas. I absolutely can't wait to see the bug screen one coming soon, as I home in sunny Central Florida where the mosquitos and love bugs are pets...err pests...lol! Interestingly enough, my window coverings were made almost exactly as you mentioned. My spray adhesive, however, did not stick the fabric to the insulation. Well, that is not true...it did, but as soon as I put them in the windows, the Florida heat separated them. To be safe, when they were first made, I had added a black tape border around the edge to make it look trimmed, and that seems to still be holding the two pieces together even though the spray glue has failed. I use the freebie tall paint stir sticks/yard sticks from the hardware store as braces to keep any oversize ones stable in the window. Thanks as always for sharing!
@ericenjoysearth27563 жыл бұрын
Thank you Alis for this great comment and for sharing your experience! For the spray adhesive, it is why I said to use the best one possible. I still remember that it cost me something like 60$ of that stuff... And that is also why I explained how to repair it if it unglue, to use carpet tape. You gives us another great solution. I don’t know that tape, but it must probably kind of have a finish not too different from the fabric to stay stealth. Thanks again, giving feedback and sharing experience is very much appreciated for everyone! Yes the screen video is one of the coming one!
