The senses are heightened and it kicks into overdrive when you sense danger. The minute the stranger "touched" the kid's shoulder or arm, you can see how everyone become alarmed. I watched this and what I cannot understand is how the old man was not beaten up. Once it became known that the girl did not know the man, it is obvious that he is clearly attempting to abduct her. While I have never had this situation happen to me, I am positive that I would never just allow someone to walk away after making a clear attempt to abduct a child. At the absolute least, I would hold them there for the police to question him and conduct an investigation. With someone that brazen, it wouldn’t be much of a stretch to think he’s done it before and the cops could be looking for him. Just my $0.02 though.
