Very sharp observation! Actually, they were built by the company that runs a TikTok rival app Kwai (Kuaishou in China). And the Kuaishou app is actually kinda known in China for all sorts of videos of Chinese people recording themselves eating food ... I guess that's where most of their training data comes from.

It has an informative first part and the second part showcasing more examples with a friend is what gives entertainment and less of an educational or presentational content. At the end it is Matt's decision how to proceed further in the future. The metrics will show if it gains more viewers, especially to the end of the video, which can be beneficial. Why not experimenting?

I think we’re gonna see more like what we saw with Dalle 1 and Dalle 2. They showed off Dalle 1, but didn’t come out with it until it was as good as a new version. I expect we will see sora 2 by the end of the year and it will be better than anything else.

oh, jeez, at 12:04 it's my generation Test - i did it to test Kling with an illustrative output (i did one before but it was a mess, then a friend told me to use relevance at 0.7). So quite proud te have been featured in your video Matt :) That said, i do agree with you, Kling shines its best when using realistic subjects, and when using image to video. You can achieve some darn good things. But from time to time its goes strange and cut the scene or do weird stuff, but usually it sticks to the image. Now not sure if creativity cursor tend to botch your images.

Yes :) I was pretty happy to heart that Kling now is finally free for all since I couldn't get the Chinese phone app version of them to work (it was blocked in my country) and it was complicated anyway (due to it being in Chinese) so the news about it being released for all was gratifying.

@@SNP2082 I Finally found that I had to move the arrow under the puzzle piece, not the piece itself. But I was lucky that, once done, it didn't keep loading forever. Tested on Firefox and Chrome (with Ublock origin and Privacy Badger add-ons still on).

Well, this is the first AI tool that worked when I prompted it to have the subject blow a kiss to the camera. The results were still not usable, however, at least it followed the prompt with some sort of blowing a kiss. Up to this point most image to video generators failed that litmus test.

I tried to sign up to Kling the other day, it's gave me a some weird captcha to test if I'm human that must have been broken with sliding a puzzle piece in place, but the piece wouldn't move when I tried to drag and drop it, so the sign up didn't take I guess.

So far out of the ones that have been released, this might be the best one yet. Runway was such a huge disappointment, I went back to Luma even though Luma's quality is the worst out of the ones that have been released. This might be best for the human videos. The problem still remains being limited with credits, though to generate videos. I don't think we're going to be able to get much out of these programs until we get an open source offline version that's free for us to use.

RunwayAI Gen 3 is way better for many things, KlingAI is really good at image to video. They both have strength and weaknesses but overall I'm loving RunwayAI, it's insanely good and fast! After doing tons of video you learn how to get the best out of it. The one future text to video platform lurking and waiting in the background is probably the most dangerous, and that's MidJourney.

Testing it a bit tonight. It did wet skin and swimsuit very well. A little too well. (No I didn’t ask it too lol just said girl at the beach) eyes were a little bit blurry but I don’t think anyone is looking at her eyes. Just a heads up it does generate slowly. So definitely have other stuff to do while you’re waiting. I was multi tasking and making talking head videos while waiting. But the quality so far seems very good

This is the best. Because no morphing. Morphing is the worst thing in AI video. Even if the prompt is not exactly reproduced that's not a big problem but morphing is the worst thing in aai. But here there is NO morphing hence it's got to be best..

Still prefer Runway's text to video for most things. Kling may be a bit better than Luma at image to video but it's close. I haven't been that impressed with either. It's definitely a matter of generating a lot and cherrypicking but it's hard to do that with only 6 5 second generations per day.

Yeah...well, what I see as suspicious, is the way it forces you to create a login. The login is generated by the site, if you change anything in the suggested login, it is behaving like you put there some kind of none allowed credential...so in the end, you accept it and it tells you, that it is saved by your browser ( I was using Opera)....So, it came up to my mind...that it would be a way how to get into your system...yeah...chinese...do not be surprised by my paranoia, actually I do believe, many subjects try to get into your data...and I think this is the case...So, Kling....clung?

I personally don't think any of these generators should cost anything. They're not good enough to charge people, like imagine spending big money for generations and you get something like the first flop Matt generated .It's not a professional tool yet but they're trying to charge people those prices. You need extremely basic prompts as per usual. I keep trying to generate a woman protecting a child from Roman looking guard with her water magic in image and video generators and can never get it, so obviously that's too complicated for any generator right now.
