No, not weird at all. Steak au poivre is a classic and very old and very popular recipe. Most youtube cooking channels have made it, it's in almost every single cookbook at all related to beef, steaks, or French cooking, and besides all that, both of these videos probably took days to plan, shoot and edit. If they were released on the same day it's only proof that BA and Gozney happened to film the recipes at the same time. Even if this video came out first, it wouldn't be logistically possible for BA to produce and publish a professionally made 15 minute video within minutes of this one going online.
