In a world where everyone and everything is tugging at me for a bit of my attention, and I resist, desperately, because that attention is for me to use! Not you! In that world, ONLY Matty Matheson can convince me spend some of my time, my attention, my brain space, to watch him boil some meat and potatoes for the better part of 20 minutes and feel good about it. Thanks Matty.

As a Canadian who suffers in the -30 to -50 degree Celsius winters this is always my go to comfort food just throw it in a giant slow cooker in the am. by dinner add the veggies and by supper you get a nice hot boiled dinner after working outside on a cold windy day.

ew, no way, matty needs artistic freedom. Not some suit telling him what his viewers want to see. we want matty in his purest form. thats not happening on netflix.

This episode was just brilliant. I mean, even though I knew the recipe, that was 20 great minutes. Thank you. And thank you Michelle, you were great!

Isn't the soup in hot pot flavored though? And they just add water when you run low on soup?
