+Sebastian Wade that's were you're wrong. I'm not a huge fan of deadmau5 but I would rather see him over the Dj's you listed. All they do is play mainstream crap banger after banger, predictable sets. 75 % of the time those Dj's aren't even playing their music they're play what Evers popular at the moment. That's why EDC a joke now , you go to the kinetic field it doesn't matter who's playing because they're all playing the same music no creativity.

I have no idea how you do it man, your production is absolutely incredible. And if its true you went thru some shit last winter, god bless you brother because this is the first semi recent track i've heard from you in a while and once again, you know how to capture emotion like very very few other producers can do for me. Some of the dopest shit i've produced was in some dark times for me. Please, never stop producing tracks no matter what you're going through, cuz you have no idea what they get us through...

I think a few things that make them all similar is that his songs are simplistic (i mean that in a good way) and not much song structure (build up, drop, breakdown, etc). But all of his songs are different in every way besides this.

What's with people bitching about this? Like, I know it's not in the usual "deadmau5" style, and it's minimal, but come on. He's experimenting, which he's done before. Besides, the track is chill. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it's bad.

I really like this DeadMau5, it's a soulful minimal beat. Great in a very noisy world (lately). Reminds me of the old skool origins of dance genre in the UK. You don't need to have lots of cool shit going on for something to be amazing. Something I learned as an artist too, sometimes if the idea is good, that's all that really matters - stuff all the haters, they don't appreciate what it takes to make a track like this. Chur for the good times, hi from New Zealand :3

I sat for about 10 minutes feeling so confused feeling Joel had straight up ripped of some artist. Then I realized I must have heard the samples on his soundcloud.

It's like he doesn't want to see his beats as progressive because the structure is on another level but this his music is a rollercoaster.
