Gotta show love to Joeys kitchen up in Napili market they was the FIRST to provide meals for us fire victims up when we all had nowhere to go all of just families in there vehicles in a jam packed napili market plaza and chef and his crew did all that they could to provide meals to us Lahaina families at 1am I’ll never forget that chef and joeys kitchen! Him and his crew provided my ohana a warm cooked meal truly Gods blessing! And shout out to El Blue Fish Tacos!!!! Cheee

Just got back from Maui last week and my family cannot stop talking about how beautiful it was! We stayed by Napili. We enjoyed Hawaiian village coffee every morning for breakfast sandwiches and coffee. We also enjoyed Joey’s Kitchen. Tried a bunch of your food recs from old videos in South Maui Gardens. I tried the Argentinian sandwich you mentioned in one of your videos and it was AMAZING! 😋 hope you’re doing well! Thanks for all the great food recs 🩵

Great list of some awesome spots... Surprised you didn't hit Joey's Kitchen! Right next to A'A Roots... Phenomenal food and great people that stepped up big time after the fire: Even though Joey and the family were refugees themselves, and sleeping in the restaurant and a van out back, they were serving up 3-500 meals each day for the community.

Mama’s BBQ in Napili has been our go to when in Napili for Beef Stew and Blueberry Tarts. Hope they are still thriving. Have not been to West Maui since the fires. PTSD. Maybe soon we can get courage. Miss your reviews, Mahalo for all you have done before the fires and since, we always have followed you. So many of our fave places are gone as Lahaina is gone. 😢😢😢 It will never be the same in our lifetime or ever sadly. Tragic.😢😢

Aloha Braised is my fav! Volcano chicken there is bomb! I tried to get it for like 2 weeks before I had to move off island recently, but the kept having private catering events. (Hope you guys are enjoying the kids playhouse btw 😅)

Not sure why Honokowai Okazuka Deli is ever included in any of these local eats videos. 20 years ago when I lived there it was one of the top places on the west side to grab a bite and its still in business.
