When water temperature is low during the early season I’ll start with 2.5’ of leader. when the water temperature gets warmer, the fish will get more active, then I’ll start with 4.5’ of leader

Do you realize that you are lining everyone of those fish? Even the ones that are in the mouth most likely didn’t bite you jus flossed them. Disgusting!! The longer leader makes snagging them easier.

If you never fish the Maumee River Walleye Run, watching them fish for little bit. see how people doing it before you start your fishing. Ask the people next to you for some advice if you need, I’m sure there is a lot people willing to help.
