Never failed one drug test and there were plenty of people on trt as it was legal at the time even people like Forrest griffin used it, and you don't stop until the referee pulls you off that's most fighters mentality, wandy and Lombard would have done the same to him given the opportunity.

Being 40 now and pretty out of shape compared to my 30 yr old self, it gives me a whole new respect for Dan doing this at 43..As much as i smoke i wouldn't even be able to roll for 5 minutes without throwing up after. Anyone still fighting in their 40's is a beast in my book.

​@jhkuno88 maybe professionally but last non professional fight I had I was 40 against a 27 year old and I chewed him up. It was a bloodbath on both sides. He was in shape/working out. I wasnt.... But my power, grit, and knowledge was all there. I was gassed bad by the end but had done no training prior to him calling me out in a few years......I was a smoker and everything. I've always been slightly gifted/blessed whatever u wanna call it. A big fish in a small pond possibly. Since then I have gotten on some TRT. A small dose currently but I don't need much

I meant Dan.....Dan was a huge PED user as everyone that was in PRIDE back then...i mean, they werent any kind of controls by PRIDE you could literally take as much as you wanted....in the UFC Dan was in heavy Test and HGH at the very least....not that Shogun didnt use PEDs mind you....Brazilian fighters are well known fror heavy PED use in competition

Before this fight started I felt sorry for DH that was fixing to happen because Rua was much bigger DH showed me again why he was my favorite fighter of all time and still is today twenty years later

The 1st fight was more of a tie tbh.....and the 2nd Dan was about to be stopped and was saved by the bell, and was losing the fight clearly when he got that flash KO.....same as with Fedor....Dan is a lucky guy
