@@navdasone4710 History lessons for you : Mauritius is an Island without indigenous people, every single person on the Island of Mauritius come from a family of immigrant. In 1810 the British recruited workers from Hong Kong, India, and Madras to trade on the Island of Mauritius also to work in the sugar cane and tea plantation. The Afro Mauricienne were brought to the island by the French as slave. Come along other immigrate from Europe, Iran, and Malaysia to trade. The Asian immigrate were called intention Labourers and they were supposed to be on a contract of 2 years in Mauritius but after their contract were expired they were not allowed to leave the Island. Some tried to escape but without success. 🏝️
