I am thoroughly enjoying the depth and breadth of information offered on your channel. It takes the "restoration" channel to the next level. I have learned so much about the history of St. Louis from your channel, as well as Caleb's. As a lover of history, architecture, and interior design, I appreciate this refreshing "take" on the "restoration channel" model.

Interesting. The treatment on the grave stones was interesting too.

That D/2 treatment wasn't planned, but was too interesting to not include.

We'll go back again and look at more beer barrons tombs and perhaps some steamboat captains.

Interesting corner of history. Thanks for the peek. It piqued my interest in the apparently cursed family of men.

This video answered questions I have had over time. What Mr. Fuller shared with you turned out to be very interesting. I am also trying to figure out if this is the cemetery that might be right off of I-70 coming into St. Louis, the one on my left as I come in.
@justinzeid2122 жыл бұрын
Yes it is. Bellefontaine Cemetery is located at 4947 W. Florissant Ave. It is the cemetery closer to I-70. Calvary Cemetery is located just to the north.

@@justinzeid212 Thank you!! A former boss of mine at The University of Missouri was laid to rest there & it was his graveside service that marked the only time I visited the cemetery. It was a very picturesque place, as odd as that might sound.

Just a friendly suggestion y'all know what these people look like we don't do maybe some pictures so we know who went with what grave.

You cant really watch this one in a vacuum. Watch the previous brews about the life of Vahlkamp for pictures of everyone, and the story. We're about to drop the 3rd installment with even more deep background on the Lemps and Vahlkamp and more pictures. This was just a side visit.

Hah! Me not being from that region, I have NO CLUE who any Lemp's were/are. Nothing in the video description to say either.

Bellfointaine Cemetery is one of the most prestigious and most beautiful places … the only bad history is blacks once were not allowed to be buried there … the place is huge!!! its some extremely old graves there dating back to the early 1800s

The dead wants to speak. I'm sure there were many other voices captured, but the music and talking did cover up some of the voices. It's sad to hear about the history. Rumor was his illegitmate son with Down Syndrome was buried near the mausoleum. 0:38 "William Lemp chained us!" 10:14 When you were in front of Irene's gravesite, she said "He loves me!"
