There is such a deep love in my heart for the songs of the early church that struggled to bring forth church as we know it today. When they didn’t have the modern musical instruments to entertain like we have today. When church was meaningful, a deep love and respect for God. When their faith was all they had to hold onto…These songs were birthed out of great trials that stripped man down to their very core…and they realized that when Jesus is all you have, He’s all that you need. This song is more than a beautiful melody…Blessed assurance Jesus is mine…The world can take a lot of things from someone, but they can’t take Jesus. When you realize that, that’s more peace than a million dollars in the bank. Beautiful beautiful cover of this beautiful song. Thank you for sharing!

Wow, I lost my dad in Dec. of 22. He was 95. This was his song. He would sing it in the Dr.'s offices and some would laugh. One nurse recorded it on her phone. I was thinking about my dad today and I came across this version. I've been trying to record this but it's hard getting through the lyrics. So, thank you Mateus.
