You’ll probably never read this, but when my kitty Aleczander passed they were playing the original song at the vet. We drove home after letting him go, and played this on the drive. It’s become a crucial part of remembering him, and reminding myself it’s not over. Hell always be in my heart, and this track makes me feel closer to him. Thank you for that, for this. RIP Aleczander and thank you to Mateus for the perfect musical send off to your amazing life. Til we meet again ❤

I've watched so many guitarists my entire life most of them are trying to make such a circus out of it, but you do your own ways, exploring the notes and melodies in a different path, i guess it mostly because you have a soul in your playing which can't be learned only by practicing, thats a gift, your techniques and everything are really working, you make a soulful harmony that able to take us to a journey and that was insane, unique, and truly beautiful, I say this is exactly how a guitar is supposed to be used. Musical Inspiration comes in many forms; some enjoy hearing rhythms and melodies, others enjoy listening to flat-out shredding, others love the sound of slow blues. Whatever kind of music touches YOUR soul, IS the best music to YOU. Mateus, you absolutely floored me with your sense of melody, phrasing, bends, and pure emotion! I've been listing to Jellyfish and Crowded House for decades. These have been two of my favorite bands of all time... but my love of them was totally independent of one another-- I had no idea there was a connection. And then, last month... I'm watching an interview with the lead singer of Jellyfish. They asked him, "Who's your biggest influence?" Without hesitation he said, "Crowded House." My mind was blown.
