THANK YOU for addressing/bringing to light the recoil bit. I think now only you and CoolGuy are about the only people I hear anything about it on. Everyone just defaults Arrowhead without even knowing what's going on. Definitely worth playing around with recoil as some are almost required to be at specific numbers to feel comfortable to use.

Personally the whole deterministic recoil thing is dumb and pointless as hell. Should’ve just stick with recoil direction stat and that is it. The whole point of making invisible stats visible a while back was for this whole reason, weapon transparency. Adding another “invisible” stat is awful.

Probably because "deterministic recoil" was only added into the game about a year ago, and guns prior to that were better of using AB. Technically, Braytech Werewolf is an older rifle, just re-issued (new perks), so people may have just assumed that deterministic recoil isn't a thing on this gun. Personally, I already knew that AB wasn't really necessary on it, even on the old version of the rifle, because that's how my old gun came, with DSR and Vorpal and it already slapped back then.

Zen Moment is definitely not a placebo on console. It virtually eliminates reticle scatter and greatly reduces recoil. Makes it much easier to consistently hit headshots at range.

Love the content! Some of the best analysis and also presented concisely, which is also how babies are made. ; ) I'd love a comparison of Kinetic Tremors on the new version of Chroma Rush and this Braytech for PvE. My Chroma Rush isn't quite perfect but it does have the updated Alloy Magazine. Combine that with Splicer Surge and you've got a 720 with a lightning reload (seriously, it's incredibly fast) that drops KT on enemies consistently fast. My interest is if the rpm difference -- 720 v 450 -- with the amazingly fast reload is enough to overcome the range advantage Braytech has. Right now the best I've gotten for both ends with: Chroma Rush: Range: 41 Stability: 69 Braytech: Range: 77 Stability: 41 Very difficult choice!

I always keep an eye for autos with KT since i used origin story with demo + KT for the getaway prismatic warlock build. KT fills transcendence so fast if you have facet of grace , i love it.

I've compared my braytech tremors with the chroma rush tremors that I farmed recently (both with subsistence). Am so much happier with the chroma rush at 720 (no rewind rounds, but then I got 66 in the mag). Also yes, I am enjoying dps-ing majors and mini-bosses with enhanced tremors + enhanced precision instrument Hung Jury! Didn't realize kinetic tremors was this good until this season.

I feel like when talking about recoil, you could mention that if the number ends in a 5 it’s vertical, or as close to vertical as it will get, so your 74 will always feel better than 100 because 4 is closer to the optimal second number of 5, I’m sure there have been several videos about this in the past, but never the less good stuff!!

I was super fortunate to get an Arrowhead brake, RR, Dynamic sway, TTT a few years ago before deterministic recoil. So my Braytech has 100 recoil direction plus TTT and Dynamic. It’s literally a laser beam with no recoil. It’s unbelievable in PvP. I have also tested my recoil in a private match, and the way to go with no deterministic recoil is 100. Now I know most won’t have an old Braytech but just thought I’d share.

im very happy with croma rush with subsistance and kinetic, its not the same, but with splicer surge and that it is a fast frame, i think subsistance is the best for that gun anyway, shame it doesnt have rewind though

Nice, been farming these for PVE. There are about 7 rolls I want: Sub + KT/Onslaught, Rewind + KT/Onslaught/Target and Pugilist + KT/Onslaught. Happy I won't have to farm Gambit for Breakneck. Can spend Vanguard Engrams on something other than Origin Story for a while such as Wicked Sister.

Ive got this exact role like 5 times over. Also the acosmic is actually a poor mans chill inhibitor. Boasting less velocity, less blast radius, but more reload speed. And like at max 1 less mag, but i have yet to get a chill inhib so acosmic with clown cartridge, bait and switch. Actually keeps up in dps atm.

Tap The Trigger barely effects full auto weapons at all. It was broken on semi auto weapons, which is why they quit doing that 3 years ago, with the only exception being the Liminal Vigil.

Great review Maven. However, I do have a 7th Seraph Auto with Frenzy, but also Reconstruction and Rasputin's Arsenal, both of which reload the gun in their own way. Usually my go-to in GMs where I need an auto. It's pretty handy in PVP too, as you can often outlast other weapons in a dual. But, I will get my grind on as I only have a 4/5 Braytech..

So just gonna throw out there. You do Haunted Sectors for Engrams, and I would say probably base Nightfalls for candy. The candy value of sectors for time is abysmal. Even expert. When you can get 6 times as much from a standard nightfall for maybe twice the runtime.

Zen is goated- Heresy! A lot of this depends on your preferred platform and input device- but Zen quite good either way the extra flinch resist, passive stability buff and reduction in bounce still super nice. Also word on the street is not every weapon magically got deterministic recoil so sayeth Coolguy- sometimes older versions and hold-overs retain the stat based recoil- Another point is perks like Zen cannot be tested on a wall. What I would like to know is how many shots does enhanced Kinetic tremors take to activate- if its like the Accrued Redemption at 2- it brings back the bows original ttk- . Good luck farming this everyone!

Some of us need exotic class items before a legendary auto rifle, especially in a season with no auto rifle mod on the artifact. I'm running prismatic, the stasis area denial nade launcher so a kinetic auto rifle aint no use to me.
