Hot take- I like the lucky pants rework. My issue with sunshot is that despite all the praise, it just didn’t feel like it could kill in endgame pve, with this change, I can fire six shots, swap back and forth, and shoot six more before reloading and doing it again. Actually feels like I can ad clear now, and I don’t treat lucky pants like the crazy damage-long cooldown that it used to be, now it feels like high damage-no cooldown

5:00 the wording is tricky on Mask of the Quiet One. The quirk is that there are two methods to proc. Either rapid void final blows OR any final blow while at critical health

Combined Juju with Skull on my warlock. I got 2 nova bombs on the wave 10 boss in onslaught. We were in the room less than a minute. Its legit. Im not sure how well it will do in higher tier content but for low to mid tier, its something else.

Don't see anyone pointing it out but the nerf to choir was only the point blank dmg, once the projectile spreads its normal. It was doing my dmg then intended at point blank before.

On Cadmus, you could get a Diamond Lance behind barricade without stasis weapon prior to Episode 2. There are some solo GM Psi-ops videos using this with Revision Zero several seasons ago and it was working fine. The exotic is 2 parts, the precision hits can be done with any weapon, and prior to Episode 2, the KILLS had to be stasis weapons. Now kills with any weapon will count towards spawning a diamond lance. So its a small change that basically remove edge cases from not working as the user would expect, making it feel more consistent.

Symmetry is even better when you consider the alt fire mode is basically free rocket sidearm rounds with tracking. With the update to give stacks on kills I now always have the explosive tracking rounds every engagement on demand. If you are still disappointed with the Quicksilver nerf I highly recommend Symmetry this season.

With Raijus, I was able to consistently get half of my super energy bar back by casting my arc staff at a enemy far away with a lot of enemies below my feet. And I was able to do that multiple times consistently, so this is definitely similar to shards of gallon or but for gathering Storm

Camus ridge always made crystals wherever you threw diamond lance. The change was only to not needing void weapons for precision hits and spawning 3 crystals with powerful combatants in addition to bosses and vehicles.

Also for skull, The amount of super energy it gives you is the same range of super energy that celestial gives on precision final blows. So this is literally The neutral game of Celestial, and the super refund rate of shards of galanor

The Peacekeepers could be pretty nutty with Osteo Striga. As you can get over 100 rounds in the mag. I’d also be curious to see how Osteo’s poison would interact with these. Would the poison tic damage give you a stack of the buff? Is the poison damage buffed by these stacks?

Overload doesn't work on Wicked Implement even though it's a scout. Lots of little annoyances this patch. I hope this doesn't become a trend.

For Ballidorse, they made shattering enemies frozen by your super projectiles do more damage, rather than the shatter pulse itself. I guess the thought was that your allies cant shatter your enemies and ruin your damage. Unfortunately it seems like a straight nerf because the super freeze takes a lot of energy and you cant get the bonus damage from bleak watcher/frostpulse freezes anymore. I would have thought in a solo situation of blast-shatter the damage would look the same tho, but apparently that does not appear to be the case For Blight ranger, it only does the damaging explosion if you cancel I think. I guess you are supposed to charge that Voltaic Mirror perk then cancel your super? Depending on the damage, it could be like making your arc staff a one-off super but with WAY more steps. Otherwise, these are a lot of great changes tho

I'm so mad. I try not to delete bad exotics that have good rolls just in case.. but I broke that rule and deleted a real good peacekeeper a few weeks ago Dx I'm excited for all the exotic smg buffs and bad juju! The lucky pants hurts though. The stow away on less than 6 hits is kinda whatever, I use it on bosses and Champs so I'll never not activating the out of luck.

Titan changes are the best, hunters are 2nd and warlocks 3rd as usual. The skull of dire ahamakara changes look good though so atleast theres that plus the new exotic.

Lucky pants is dead. Bungie basically capped its ability to do sustained dps. Sure it will be better for ad clear now but that's not why people used it. It's probably best with erianas vow now.
