Out of all the Mega Man X remixes,this is my favorite one. The composer, for the most part, did not waste time with long introductions and transitions, unlike other over-the-top remixers. This remix gets straight to the core melody. He merely added a little bit of his own twist to an already good soundtrack and let the listener's nostalgia do the work.

This track is the definition of nostalgia. It reminds me of when I first played a Mega Man game, I didn't know what to expect from these games until I actually put the cartridge in, pressed the on switch and just admired the work that they put into these games.

Woooooooooooow! I would have never expected the Chill Penguin remix to be the epoch of this collection! 10 minutes and its SOLID rockin! Mixing it up with the other themes in this medley were the icing on the cake!

Easily one of the best songs on the whole album. In 10 minutes it manages to evoke all the emotions and sensations we had as kids playing Chill Penguins stage for the first time, even having the correct order of events (Stage Select, Intro, Stage Theme, Dr. Light's Capsule, Boss Entrance Theme, Boss Fight, Level Clear, Get Weapon and then the Password Screen). This whole track is pretty much how we saw Mega Man X when it was first released.

I very seriously almost cried when I heard this. I spent a good portion of my childhood painstakingly learning all the bosses, the orders, sub tank and heart tank locations, EVERYTHING. No internet, no players' guides...ahh...that's how gaming should be.
