Apart from his attitude in the past, I believe he deserves another chance. We would have missed a great talent if he's not signed by any motogp team. Glad that Aprilia signs him. I hope he can make the best of it, and never do the same mistakes he did in the past (in Yamaha, and in motog3)

I think he has lost a bit of bottle since becoming a father and losing his cousin Dean. He set his stall out with the amazing win at the beginning of last season on the M1 . He could’ve blamed any other bike but the Yam is ‘friendly’, as much as a gp bike can be, and we know what his team mate done on it. Looked like he wasn’t prepared to throw the sink at it . Yamaha expected a title contender and Aprillia isn’t quite there yet . Hopefully this helps Maverick reboot and get back to his best. He is a massive talent and I’m a big fan of his riding style.
