The Mavs played a “Green”Thunder team who will get better, and a Wolves team that I think lost their confidence and let noise gef to them but like the Thunder they'll get better. If both teams were disciplined like Boston either one of them would've made the Finals and gave Boston a run for their money

Edwards is young, and a deep playoff run tests the best players' endurance - and, truly, their coaching staff simply could not rise to the occasion; like, watching the ostensible best defense in basketball absolutely refuse to change anything to address the single central set that was shredding them was unreal. So the wolves let Luka and Kyrie cook AND gave their support players free run to the rim for the entire series, and they spent the whole series scrambling on defense, so I think they were just exhausted. Mavs were 100% who I wanted to see in the Finals, as a Boston fan, just bc the C's have so many great defenders to throw at Dallas' backcourt, and the Mavs have so little skill and experience anywhere else.
