Luka gone be scary next year. I think this loss and a very bad loss at that may be the best thing that happens to him. It’s gonna go against his ego. If he were to win he’ll just think I can win on my own with another scorer. When in reality that’s not the case. This is gonna make him loose weight and play better defense. If this don’t make him do it nothing will. We’ll see how he comes back next season. I’m not gonna base this loss on if he’s gonna be a flop or not. It’s his comeback that is gonna show what he’s made of.

hot take: “clutchness” is extremely overrated, saying someones is good at scoring “when it matters most” is stupid. you wouldnt need to turn it up at the end of the game if you scored more earlier, why praise someone for getting out of a hole that they themselves dug.
@ningorafael52796 ай бұрын
Very good take, you got me wondering too and i may have the answer for you. clutchness biggest factor its not on court skill, its composure and coolness in a moment where normal people get nervous/anxious/overwhelmed. Lapses in concentration happen due to various reasons hence why you dig yourself a hole... then its time to rise to the ocasion, can you bring your sh*t together and make it happen? So not only do they praise "Clutchness" for its game saving heroics but also for the strong mentality of the player, which in most cases is what separates All Stars from All-NBAs
@raymondqiu82026 ай бұрын
Yeh I guess that's a hot take, but it's really just a normal logical take. Scoring adds up to the same number in the end so it's just logical
@ADollarMight6 ай бұрын
I have always agreed with this. You’re essentially praising people for doing less in most cases. In some cases it matters. like a neck and neck game where you’ve been performing the whole time, or lebron in 2016 going against what could be considered the second best team of all time. but overall, a very overrated stat that is essentially worthless. if you play good all game and aren’t “clutch” they see you as bad. but if you do jack all game and turn up at the end they eat it up

He shouldn’t lose weight. His ability to manipulate his size is partially what makes him such a lethal scorer. He should either develop more muscle or get better conditioned. I feel like the celtics have been playing somewhat of an “hes to fat to drop 70” defense where they refuse to blitz screens and constantly send doubles
@Llama_Cub6 ай бұрын
@@JoeyMac also, he’s clearly playing through injury. Not trying to day he’s an elite defender when healthy, but it feels like his physical shortcomings plays a factor in him being frustrated and whiny. That’s my assessment anyways
