I think most people find out, disappointingly, after they buy a drone that the worst thing about owning a drone is that there are so few places that you can legally fly them.

from purely Image Quality in Video mode point of view.. Mini 3 pro or good Old Mavic 2 pro ? I really like HD narrow FOV of mavic2 pro.

True. However, like everything these days, it's not about the vast majority who do the right thing. Regulations are there for the 1% who are morons and don't care about endangering others, wildlife etc., or want to do the wrong thing - spy on neighbours etc. Perhaps it's more than 1%...

Does the cooling fan of the Mavic 2 pro goes up and down when it is IDLE ? I got mine moments age and it feels like drone is processing something while it is IDLE, should I return it to DJi ?

It does turn on the fan during this process, it's normal)) But you can contact DJI if you have doubts)

Maybe someone can help. My Mavic 2 PRO crashed and was busted into pieces.....no longer usable, however the nice camera appears to be ok. Can I use the camera as a surveillance camera at my home? I would like for the video output to be displayed on my computer screen. Thanks!

I highly doubt it... but my tip of advice is to text directly to DJI's support and ask them this question

Only drone you'll ever need if you dont mind no fly zones grounding your aircraft whenever DJI feels like it. If you dont shoot in anything better than 4k30. If you don't need to zoom ever. If you don't mind you batteries swelling up and throwing them away. It does have the 1 inch sensor though so I guess its the best right. Oh wait lots of people are saying the sony cmos .5 sensor actually has less grainy look and reduced noise when compared to the 2018 hassleblad 1". I'd rather purchase a mavic air 2 and have better range and zoom and much more. Compared to the go 4 app, DJI fly app gets way more attention now days with updates and more features. The mavic 2 pro is old news and anyone spending money on it at this time will soon regret it. Way too much money for what you actually get. Check out the Autel Evo 2 pro instead. Thank me later

Thank you for the opinion, that is why there are so many options in the market, so that anyone could find the best choice. Mine is DJI Mavic 2 Pro, but I will check the Autel Evo 2 pro for sure, thanx!
