@@julianmclean3869 This one reviewer, I won't say his name, he goes by his first name "blank the drone reviewer" he is allways lying, he said me and Dustin are good friends and I was surprised he didn't get a mav air 2 from DJI, I f the guy ever even watched Dustin he would know that he has bought every DJI drone himself. I know because Dustin told us he has. The guy was trying to ride Dustin's coat tails, and the guy hardly ever flies he just talks about them.

My first thought would be they have a connection with Dji dealers. Since the dealer would have some stock waiting for release day they may have sent some early to promote their store possibly under DJI's radar.. not sure but it makes sense. I've heard DJI is very picky on who they choose to give samples to directly and they are usually the ones that are larger more promotional channels.

@Mike I've seen a few channels claim we are good friends even though we've never talked or maybe only had an email or two between us.. lol. I honestly don't remember ever corresponding with said reviewer. It's funny I just got an email yesterday from them though. It's a bit silly to me to claim your good friends with someone you've never spoken to or hardly associated with 🤷‍♂️.

One small thing to correct you on Dustin, ADS-B does not alert other aircraft of the drones presence, it just alerts you to other aircrafts presence.

The ND filters are good for video to set your shutter speed to 1/2x the framerate for a more cinematic look with the natural motion blur! Great video as always!

Lowering shutter speed is good when flying with the sun from the front shining through the propellers so you don't get the annoying flickering too.

Nice review & unboxing, thanks! Re: ND filters - these are used mainly for video, so you can slow your fps & shutter in daylight to achieve a more cinematic look (24 fps + 1/50 shutter, for example).

Hey. You should have read the manual on how to charge them individually. Because of the hibernation mode. It can harm the batteries if you multicharge them at once for the first time. Just a note to all the new buyers. I always look at your videoes. Great stuff

The MA2 is without a doubt the best drone Dji or anyone else has come out with in recent time. It does everything and then some that they claim it will do.... Absolutely incredible drone.

You probably noticed already but theres a lil "V" shape to the pads/bumpers that secure the phone so they dont actually press down on the buttons themselves allowing you to center your phone on the controller perfectly. You can look from either side of the controller at the pone buttons along the top or bottom edge of the phone to see the air gap where the actual buttons are.

Just a heads up you may brick the batteries charging on the multi charger if possible use the single charger first, there was an issue with the multi charger and I do not know if it still is occurring 😄

You have to charge the batteries with the one battery at time charger,or the batteries can be blocked forever

He said he has it on the multi charger charging 1 at a time but this guy said you have to charge on the single charger 1 at a time orit will be bricked. Don't use the multi charger when you 1st charge the battery then use the multi charger.

I didn't have this issue. Was charging 2 on multi charger while doing review with one in Mavic. Then I added the third to the multi chager and they all work and fly fine for me.

Dustin Dunnill You know what I got the Mavic Air 2 brand new already. And I had bad luck with it as many others. As I charge all the batteries getting ready to review it and bam a problem already error code 0xffe. Smh DJI said that there is nothing they can do just return the item well that’s a huge problem because of COVID-19 and I had two units have this same issue so now I’m on my third unit being delivered next week I’ve lost over a grand in work cause I planed on using it for photography and I had to pay for all the shipping and all DJI has to say is “Sorry” no offer for any type of compensation for my troubles and others as well hope you have a better Experience then I did with this horrible company. P.S other drones and products great but this issue really digs deep and also how there support was careless good luck with yours and stay safe you and yours...

Hey Dustin, great review as always. Just wanted to say, when you put your phone in the holder, you dont really have to be worried that it will push buttons when it is holding it. They designed it pretty smart.

Dustin interesting video for people that need to know how to set this up, Dustin looking forward to the flight tests👍. Also if you wasn't sure, to bare in mind as this drone also uses Qcusync 2 you can at some point use this on the dji smart controller, Dji have said it will work with air 2 awaiting the update👏 The controller the air comes with is a very stripped down version of the smart controller. Looking ahead I might buy one of these to play around with I also only ever buy the fly more kits for my drones, only problem having so many drones is I have to make sure all the batteries are cycled and looked after, it's seems to take forever🤣
