Mavic in Mexico, Can I fly to that island?

I thought i would try to fly from where i was staying to an island, there were a lot of buildings in my path, but thought i might try anyways.

We are heading to Sayultia for xmas this year. Was hoping to pick up a Mavic (but depending how these new Cdn laws pan out...). Do you know where I can find drone laws for Mexico?
