It would be nice if you had three full flights, takeoff to landing, rather than three internal selections, to try the app. I saw some settings for height and distance that might make a difference in the Follow and Tracking. Since the drone does not have the software, it must all be in the controller? Still more than you can do with the MINI. It would be nice if you could buy the software and purchase updates rather than a yearly lease. Do you pay for updates as well as the yearly fee? Thank you for taking a look and presenting another option. It would be interesting to see what other DJI drones it works with and how it responds with better cameras and the Occusync controller.

Yes I would like that too - but seem they have not plans about releasing a SDK any time soon

Hi Henrich have you tried out the Drone Harmony app ? It has a free version which has most of the main features available and also supports the Mavic Mini.

Please help me. I just bought a dji mavric mini fly more combo on black Friday. I can not download the app. The QR code on the box does not work. I have a Samsung s21 ultra and there's no dji fly app. I've downloaded the rainbow app but it's not connecting to the camera. What do I do

Check DJI website for compatible devices - I know they are lacking support for som of the newer models

Im in the process of deciding between the mavic air 2 or the mini 2. Im in the uk so the 249 grams of the mini is convenient, plus i think the footage of both cameras is very close apart frommthe larger sensor on the air 2 it looks like the mini 2 is better value. Having used both whats your thoughts?

No because DJI didn’t released the SDK for Mini 2. There is no plan for it right now and I don’t think they will release it, because it could cannibalize Air 2’s sales

Driving another vehicle and operating a drone?? Totally illegal if he is in the US, but maybe not other countries? Too many people are either ignorant or cavalier about the regs but make vids like this that then legitimize it for people who then think it's okay bcuz someone else did it...

FYI He is not in US. Do you normally address people in 3rd person IRL? Mini is a a toy below 250g, and I have my hands free and chances are if someone tries this the get hurt by falling off the electric unicycle rather than by the drone 😂
