POI mode is a bit limited since it only does circles around the POI. I wish there was mode in which Mavic would automatically point the camera at POI by controlling yaw and gimbal, while we could fly the drone around in any direction we wished! This can be done in ActiveTrack-Trace, however it only works on people and cars - not on buildings!

Excellent video, very concise. However, one thing I didn't realise is that you have to start/stop recording. It does not automatically start /stop recording like quickshots.

best POI Tutorial!!! one question... once you set those parameters is it automatically orbiting by itself based on the direction you wanted it to go? or are you actually using the joysticks ?

Very good tutorial ! Could you in fact have moved away 300m for example and still made the poi flight ? 😊

I am not sure about that! 300 meters is a long distance but it depends on the Point Of Interest. If the POI is a building like my case maybe it's possible but if for example the POI is a vehicle at 300 meters the processor of mavic pro will not be able to recognise the poi anymore.

When does the recording start?

You can start the Recording (manually) before or after setting the POI Mode.
