Nicely done from your point of view::). Love your tutorials cuz you don't pretend to be something you're not. Also, 20 degrees would not be a "nice" day in the rest of the world:). That's just plain cold! My dad was from North Dakota and it was impossible for him to bad mouth the weather there.

From Wikipedia: The term Scandinavia always includes the three kingdoms of Denmark, Norway and Sweden. The remote Norwegian islands of Svalbard and Jan Mayen are usually not seen as a part of Scandinavia, nor is Greenland, an overseas territory of Denmark. However, the Faroe Islands, also a Danish overseas territory, are sometimes included, as sometimes are Iceland, Finland and the Finnish autonomous region of the Åland Islands, because of their historical association with the Scandinavian countries and the Scandinavian peoples and languages.[3] This looser definition almost equates to that of the Nordic countries. In Nordic languages, only Denmark, Norway and Sweden are commonly included in the definition of Scandinavia.

Great Video. I specifically looked for a tutorial on orbiting or POI for the MAVIC Pro and everything worked exactly as you explained. Thanks so much. I haven't checked yet, but if there's a follow me mode on the Mavic Pro, it would be great for you to do a tutorial on that as well.

Mine arrived on Tuesday, this is what I really have been wanting to do fora long time. I've got, amongst others a Jyu Hornet which with the gimbal detached will hit 70mph. It is just a very fast gps drone with a gimbal other than that. No programmable flight modes just as fast as f----. Now I'm going over all your videos again one by one, now I've got my Mavic Pro, they are even more helpful.
@51Drones7 жыл бұрын
Wow! That's fast. That's great, I'm so happy to get comments like this. Happy to help.

51 Drones sorry I don’t know your name, just had my first flight in field. Absolutely awesome, I am being very cautious ( lost 2 Walkera Furious) tried out collision avoidance, rth, and tripod so far and I could not be more satisfied with my choice of a full on camera drone. Thanks for all your videos, you convinced me and I’ve been wanting a Typhoon for about a year. Tell me, how do I get Histagram, I saw it somewhere in the app but now I can’t find it. Cheers again buddy.

I must admit my first real effort with this didn't go quite according to plan but this and another video make me realise I think its working on GPS? Clear blue sky, I went to get more footage of a ruined castle but the point of interest was a pretty huge structure so I needed to get above its centre then come out by 100ft or so, but only came out 40ft so it didn't go quite as Id like it to but lesson learned. It is neat once you figure it out.
@51Drones6 жыл бұрын
Fly Hi Yep, it uses GPS.
@billfelix90616 жыл бұрын
Thanks Russ, Wow that's to easy. But was wondering how to do it, so thanks. Would like to learn how to circle follow a moving point of interest also.
@51Drones6 жыл бұрын
Using the Active Track mode, you can set the drone to rotate as it tracks. It's really easy, but must be done in a very open area and the subject must be moving relatively slow.
@billfelix90616 жыл бұрын
Thanks once more, will give it a try.

@AndreRoy19675 жыл бұрын
Hey Russ I realize this is an older video but you seem to have good luck flying in a cold environment under 32 degrees Fahrenheit - DJI doesn’t recommend this but have you had any issues with the Mavic Pro ? The one time I flew in -5 Celsius everything was good - I keep the batteries in my pocket and let the drone hover a bit before going on a mission. Maybe a good idea for a video winter flying with the Mavic Pro 1 and 2 hints on how to do it safely etc.
@51Drones5 жыл бұрын
I just flew 2 days ago at 0F. No trouble at all. I have a couple, I'll post the links here later.
@AndreRoy19675 жыл бұрын
Zero Fahrenheit is like -17.78 celcius - that’s pretty cold - it doesn’t get that cold in Nova Scotia usually - we have a lot of yo-yo weather where the wind chill will be like -15 to -20 (like today) but the air temp is like -5 to 5 degrees and the chance of rain - if I see the warmer days coming I usually plan on flying - guess the mavics are like a car - let them warm up good before using.

Hi, I only just got my Mavic Pro recently and came across your channel and liked what i saw and your way of teaching how to fly this drone. I have just tried your example and it all worked as you showed it, the only problem was that it did not record it. Do you have to press record button once it starts to circle the POI. I thought it would record automaticly or maybe there is something wrong with my drone. Can you please confirm this. My drone is a Mavic Pro by the way and i am using DJI Go 4 app. Thanks in advance.
@51Drones5 жыл бұрын
Yes, for POI, you do have to press record. Only the Quickshots intelligent flight modes start recording automatically.
@leonardmele31425 жыл бұрын
Thank you for clearing that up. @@51Drones

Is there any quicker way to stop PIO mode? Because it is rotating, it could crash sideways into a pole, tree or something else. If you see that is gonna happen, how can you quick stop de movement?
