It’s insane. I’ve always liked him as a player but as a person between the time he got out of Cle and when he got to the Mavs, I honestly hated him. As a lifelong Mavs fan, we had Dirk overshadowed by Duncan. And that title was so sweet, bc it felt like Dirk may have missed his chance in 06 and would never get another. This run is sweet bc we have seen how great Luka is but everyone wanted to anoint other players as the face of the league. Yet, Luka was always there and we watched him night in and night out. We knew if you just put above average players around him he could do this bc he elevates his team. Even though the media questioned 'does Luka make his teammates better?' Idk if we beat Boston but if we do, man Luka will be a legend

See, Kidd again said he's "just watching"... People used that same quote against him when things were bad, but he's consistent with it when things are good! Like he said, "it's a players league, not a coaches league"... He gives credit to the players always... but when he first said "I'm just watching" last season, he was just saying that he can't make the plays for them because he's just a coach, and being a player who was a great "QB" for his team, he knows it's a "players league"! I hope next season the Kidd hate will cease.

This was particularly contentious because his mom had basically raised him, but his dad had recently got back into the picture and I've heard speculation that the lawsuit had a lot to do with his mom and dad fighting with each other through him. So when he said he didn't like playing basketball at that moment he was talking more about what basketball brings in his world.

@@vanessagrayman2194he takes too many bad shots and plays out of control. If he's not insanely productive scoring, he's a liability on the court, and since he's so streaky, it's probably better not to see him.

@@vanessagrayman2194 As much as I love how Timmy bailed us out so many times in the first half of this season (we would have been a "play-in" team without him), I am glad to see Hardey getting his minutes now.

its crazy they tried to turn Coach Kidds 1-B statement out of content. Got to listen to him first before they say that to Kyrie. And in this video Kidd is last. I love how Kyrie handle the question, tryna start some shit.

MAV's fan since the February trade (Gafford fan) picked the right season to jump into Maverick culture and watch a hopeful play in spot turn into a 5th seed and now A CHAMPIONSHIP RUN! Do you know the torture of spending 4 years watching the WIZARDS..... They even traded away Porzingis who was a WIZARD with Gafford. I love that this will be a championship match up as a i know that Gaff knows exactly how Porzingis plays 😁

This is why I consider the Nuggets (even though they lost the series) a better team than the Timverwolves .The Nuggets were able to come out of a deficit of 0-2 and were able to stretch the series to 7 games, the Timverwolves are just not at that level when presented with adversity because they just don't got it in them!

I call BS. OKC was a great team. The Mav's played their game. This team is a great team that earned their shot. The Mav's are playing their game. I can only hope the injury bug stops and some of these guys come back. As long as the Mav's are playing their game they deserve it also. Maybe the Nuggets will be the better team next year, again.
