​@@morishogo144 no, they were trying to get the game under the 30 mark for most of the quarter, then Mavs had a series of Kyrie shots going in, then some emphatic finishes by Lively, with i would guess some turnovers form the celts, getting the deficit to 36 with 3 minutes left in the 3rd. Thats when they threw the towel. The lead was balooning with no signs of stopping, with their starters on the court. The coach said enough is enough.

There’s a video floating around of lively shooting threes at the draft combine. I had never seen it until last week and it’s amazing because he must hit 20 in a row from all over the court. good to see him finally have a confidence to do it in the game and glad it went down. That’s a threat the Mavericks need to keep Boston honest on defense.

Fantastic defense, complete domination and what pleasure it was to watch Luka's mastery tonight! You can't win the game with continuous tough shots but with continuous open look shots, and when Luka, Kyrie and Lively pass to open look shots the opposite team is in difficulty. It's not a question which team has more talent (this is certainly a team capable of dominating the game in the finals), but about commitment in defense which brings composure and fluidity in offense. Kidd should engage Hardaway more for continuous open look threes and defense only, it doesn't matter how many open threes he misses, he will eventually find the flow and influence the game. It is a criminal to leave a great three point shooter on bench when you need this points, but he should limit himself to do just this without thinking much to other thighs, just focus on where you are the best and pass where you are not. For those who wonder if Luka can ever overcome his lack of emotional control when things are not going right, this game was the answer, he has discipline and the sky's the limit for him. It is not about believing in teammates and winning games, it's about finding the strength inside yourself through composure and thus influence others. Believe is a mental construct based on feelings, with focus on outside, composure is based on internal energy management with focus on inside. Composure is a discipline with rules, and emotions drain composure. Luka will find the way to composure through his immense talent, discipline and through enjoying playing basketball, simple as that. Go Mavs, now you know how to win the series, whatever is happening on the floor, just collect yourself in defense with commitment and stay fluid in offense 💪💪

This is not a individual sport. Everyone has to show up and play hard with intensity as a team. Then it becomes easy for Luka as the others help to take away Boston's focus from him.

Dante Exum and Josh Green's energy was huge. Same with Lively as always. They need Exum out there more because his aggressiveness keeps the defense on the backfoot. Josh green is young and dives for 50/50 balls, getting steals, grabbing rebounds. We need these guys to desperately show up in Game 5. When Dallas relies only on Luka and Kyrie it makes it way too easy for Boston to stop them.

Jamesmurray, In my opionion in Game--4, Dallas proved that if everybody is Locked in and getting Defensive Stops insteand of just relying on Isolation--Ball, where LUCA And KYRIE, initiates all the scoring the way they Blowed them out shows me that they can beat them and play with them but they got to keep Duplicating the Total team efforts Offensively and Defensively and if they do i believe in my heart ❤️ they could force a Game 7 ? 🤔
