southwest FO once let me in the flight deck before takeoff while we were at the gate, he also let me start the APU, turn the on the seatbelt signs, and he helped me plan the flight route and even walked me through METARS on the FMC, i’ll never forget that 💙❤💛

There are reports by an engineer who worked on these planes from Boeing saying he would not fly on one. I fear these planes are not safe to fly.
@That_transportation_guy10 ай бұрын
If you’d afraid, keep in mind that these incidents are very rare and almost always non fatal. Over 3500 Boeing planes fly every day. The odds are so minimal. Also, many of the latest issues are likely because of how united maintains their aircraft.

"Less safe" is the best way to put it. I definitely wouldn't fly on any built since Calhoun took over if I could help it. With the right app you can plan trips based on the equipment used. Easy enough to exclude Boeing.

It is important to respect those who died due to a very bad practice, but at the same time no company will ever shut down a successful model which it is. Not only that, but they did deal with the problem. Also, all the other Boeing related incidents appear to be more like one time things and less like repetitive issues.

1:05 doesn't happen at Alaska. Although unrealistic, I hope Southwest abandons Boeing someday and go to Airbus. Boeing is rotten to the core and can't be turned around. That's obvious with two plane crashes and numerous new issues since.
@That_transportation_guy10 ай бұрын
Listen, most of the new issues are related to airline’s maintenance practices which are disgusting. Not only that, but over 3,500 Boeing flights fly everyday without a single problem. The problem with Boeing is how much bad publicity one incident has generated since what they did with MCAS. Not to mention the 777x is going to change aviation.
@Aeroplanesyes10 ай бұрын
This isnt alaska airlines little kid, southwest has been flying these planes without a single airbus in their fleet for YEARS, giving up on Boeing would be retarded. I have flown the max 8 more than the NEO and I can say its very nice. Am I dead? No, and dont go saying “tell that to the dead people that happened years ago” pfft that was fixed a very long time ago. Please tell me when southwest had a door exploding, go on.
@DrFilipinoGuy3204 ай бұрын
@@Aeroplanesyes After seeing this comment for just 6 months, I’d agree with you. The MAX family has no errors and people now think boeing is just a horrible company. People make mistakes, and mistakes can be resolved by a quick fix. From the comment he’s saying, is just some idiot who hasn’t ACTUALLY rode the MAX family or either boeing aircraft. To be fair, I rode on the MAX 8 and it was a smooth ride from my perspective. And i’ve honestly loved the aircraft more the the A320NEO.
