His first book was written in 1945 and printed in 1946 with the title Dr Kwame Nkrumah Towards Colonial Freedom. Before he came to Ghana in 1947. So that shows he was prepared for Africa liberation before he was brought to Ghana.

Akyem, Bono,Asante, Nzema, fantes, Kwahu Akuapem and the rest are all One people. Akans, stop hating yourselves😂😂. Bono, gave birth to you all, and the Twifo from the Central brought about the common Language(Twi) to all of you. And the Big one, the Mighty Asantes stands out among the siblings of you the Akans. Just like a Family where a sibling works hard and uniquely stand out from the rest. You should all be happy that the Asantes have emerged as the Greatest. As a citizen of Ghana and a Gonja to be precise, i would like to thank all the Akans, especially the Asantes and her allies (Ewes, Gonjas, Dagomba's, Nzema's and Mamprusi's) during the war times, for bringing peace to Ghana. I am glad to be be Ghanain😊. Indeed Asante is not a for particular tribe but a mixture of all the other tribes. God bless us all... 😊

You've certainly hit the nail on the head! BAM!!💪🏾 We're a kaleidoscope of people, beautiful and diverse!! Our very nature shd help us pull our uniqueness together & work towards the greater good of Ghana. I get so disheartened when ppl start drawing from historical events to score points. Whatever region you hail from, you're Ghanaian first and foremost. Nkrumah's lifestyle & philosophy must be a lesson for us to understand that divided we fall, united we stand. As usual, thanks for a v enlightening interview

Dr Nkrumah is the greatest leader of all times and the founder of Ghana. Out of sheer jealousy the current government of NPP under Nana Addo has tried to distort Ghana’s history and tarnish the image of this great man to the extent of changing the Republic day and his birth day to something else.Dr Nkrumah was a great man of vision and had done a lot for Ghana and Africa.

The questions were too haphazard from different angles. He wasn't asked about his day of birth which was Friday and his parents names. History has it his real surname was NGOLOMA(KOFI NGOLOMA) but the name changed thru the influence of an uncle or grandfather. He gained schlorship to ACHIMOTA, that story should have been well exploited.
@steve32887 ай бұрын
Ngoloma is the same as Nkrumah in nzema. The ninth born in nzema is either ngloma or ngloma

Stop the talk and ask the house to change the name of the international airport from kotoka to Kwame Nkrumah airport. That man did nothing for the but rather😂the main contributor to our suffering to day. That airport was built by Nkrumah so why is the person who overthrew him name on it. It is an insult to his legacy. His statue should be the first image people is when they land in Ghana. What are we waiting for. It's long overdue
@johnaddison509 ай бұрын
This goes on to show you how great and selfless man he was
@samuelarthur-dadzie6409 ай бұрын
The great Osagyefo had intended to name the airport after Nana Yaa Asantewaa. He consulted the royals of Ashanti for their endorsement but they refused on political grounds. The royals intimated that, Nana Yaa Asantewa would have been a United Party member( a political party diametrically opposed to the CPP ), and thus, even she would have been opposed to the idea. Thus, what would have been the YAA ASANTEWAA AIRPORT, has now been named after a traitor !!!!!!!!
@edengarden35689 ай бұрын
please let us leave Nana Yaa Asantiwa or whatever the name is out of this . She only dealt with a fraction of Ghana and not the whole of Ghana. Ashanti is a small part of Ghana and not the whole of the country. 15 regions remember. It was Nkrumah's choice then and why we don't know. I am talking about the man who gave the country electricity and others. Yaa Asantewa never gave anything to the whole of Ghana but only the Ashantis. The airport is on the land of the Gas and that would have been the greatest insult to us. God forbid. Thank God it never happened.@@samuelarthur-dadzie640

Neither was he fair complexioned, as this guy suggests. Africans will believe anything! No wonder so many false doctrines and superstitions succeed in Africa. SMH.
