You could actually see that in the film. They had a tense relationship. They work together but you could see they weren’t friendly. That really helped the movie in my opinion.

'Furiosa' was shot on location, dude. The Mad Max franchise takes place in Australia. And you'd probably be mind-blown if you know how many VFX shots were present in 'Fury Road'.

He was notoriously late. Imagine filming in the middle of a desert and you have to sit in a truck for 2 hours with the windows down waiting for some dipshit.

I remember hearing Charlize say in an interview that it was easier for them to use a more method approach when interacting on set. The environment definitely played a role, that type of dynamic could never happen on a volume.

Tom and Charlize are both amazing, top tier actors.. it happens sometimes on set.. im sure there aren’t any real hard feelings, and at the end of the day the underlying tension between the two performers made for good character dynamics in the film, we can almost sense the intensity between the characters..

I like Tom Hardy but this was completely his fault he was consistently hours late on purpose just to use it as a power move. Nobody but Charlize could have confronted him about it, if the director did he might leave the film and if a random staff remember did they might lose their place on set.

Wrong step sis both kids worked on pre during and post production of said film and the main protagonists were not solely the two stars egos but the egos of all the girls who rode in the truck using their numbers advantage to push whatever agenda they read online before each day or scene. Tom did pick and choose when to lash out on such occasions yet never boisterous or aggressively the two kids mentioned witnessed all or most altercations. Including behind the scenes

Well, there is also the fact that Mad Max was just guest starring in his own movie. It was more Furiosa's story than anyone else's. I enjoyed the movie immensely but Max was just a supporting character. So much so that he didn't even get another movie. They mistakenly thought we wanted a Furiosa movie.
