As a former pro myself, I watch these vids and imagine what I'd be doing and if I could hang with or even go faster than the riders themselves. This is the first video I've ever seen where I can say with absolute certainty (and humility): "These guys would smoke my ass. I could NOT hang with them at all." I would lose sight of them in probably just 3-4 turns. Max Anstie's start was GOD-LIKE; perfection. That was the quickest response to a gate drop I've ever seen. I'm astonished at how fast these guys are. This is the best example of WFO badass riding I've ever seen, honestly. The only other time in memory that I've seen something comparable was about 7 years ago watching Blake Baggett just destroy everyone on a particularly inspired day. I don't even remember where it was, just that he was in God mode in that moto. Thanks for posting this video. I wish I could download it. It's straight insane!

I watch this like once a week for inspiration. Love the reving, love the clutching. I'm old school. Used to race CR125 two stroke back in the 80's at Barona CMMC so I'm all about clutching. I ride a KX450F now but I still ride it like a two stroke. You can take a rider out of a two stroke but you can't take the two stroke out of the rider. Awesome race footage.

brokenmoto 14 Its a great track, only half an hour away from me, you dont get a sense of actually how big the hills are on this, at 2:02 that hill is huge, almost vertical in places, then the drop off at 2:18 again is nearly vertical down about 12 foot then very steep to the next corner

@codenamenel9 жыл бұрын
Cascadesbmx I`ve never heard of it being open for practice, but Salop Motor Club who run the Track have events there and there are AMCA races but the full track isnt open at those, they miss out the Hill, if you look at 2:01 on the Video there`s a right turn (blocked off on the video) that cuts from 2:02 until about 2:20 out, all the rest is the same though. Fast Eddy does some Enduro events there too using some of the track and some of the surrounding woods. www.hawkstonemx.co.uk/
