The comment i copied in here helped me understand it. but also what worked for me is that pretty much if your paraglider isn't working, then make sure to submit the hearts and stamina to the statue, save it again, load that save file, then take out the hearts and stamina. Just verify that the paraglider is working, otherwise the glitched heart and stamina will go awake again :) From a comment below by @Signal_Found 2 years ago for people having trouble with reloading a save and losing stamina and hearts make sure that you have quite a bit of essence collected with the statue and then reload the save so you lose the glitched hearts/stamina and if you have done it enough you should be able to max out and keep your containers

You know what's funnier, in the beginning of TOTK, Link starts out with 30 hearts and 3 wheels of Stamina, this implies that the Max Hearts and Stamina Glitch is canon to BOTW/TOTK

Sorry to correct ya. But the best practice when starting out is to sell all your spare hearts and stamina to the statue. Save the game. Then buy them all back. Then do the apparatus glitch. This will send you back with all your hearts and their copy in the statue. Then you repeat. Sell them all. Save. Buy them all back repeat apparatus. This will duplicate much faster than how you explained. Another good piece of info would be the easiest memories to get

Actually you don't have to sell the hearts and get them back! Once you're done just save the game and reload the saved file. The affects of the glitch will be GONE

A TIP IF GLIDING DOESN'T WORK AFTER GLITCH: If your glide doesn’t work after the glitch, just save the game and then close it. Open it again and everything should be normal, with all the duplications still there!

If your hearts or stamina are resetting after saving/resetting, you need to dupe the essence up before saving. So put in all your stamina and hearts into the statue till you have as much essence as possible, save your game, go in the shrine by foot, do the glitch, then load your save and get your essence. Then once you have all your hearts or stamina, go back into the shrine, do the glitch, and load the save from before. Put in all your hearts and stamina again and you should have double the amount of what you had previously. Do this on repeat till you have enough essence to max out all your stats. Then, in once sweep will you have 3 hears and one wheel of stamina, max everything out then save and restart the game and it should work!

I think it's to add a bit of challenge: you have to decide whether you think it's better to have more stamina or hearts, and this shapes how you play. (for example, getting more hearts but less stamina might mean you clear out more monster camps since you have more hearts, but if you had more stamina you might climb or swim around it if you don't need to clear it out.)

This worked first try, thank you! One thing I struggled with was the whole camera glitch, but I figured out that rather that doing it all at the same time, it was better to first equip the shield, then when I was ready use ZL and the left stick together and it worked every time. I’ve used glitches in other games to make the game easier and I find it becomes very boring to play after a while as there’s no challenge in breezing through a game like botw. Just something to note, that once you've done the apparatus glitch and reload your statue save and take hearts out after, you can just reload the autosave for the shrine, making this process a little faster without having to run up to the shrine to enter it, repeat as many times necessary.

Heres a quick tip for this glitch: when getting into the camera-crawl state (from my 30ish minutes of testing) DON'T click ZL L and left stick at the EXACT aame time do ZL>leftstick>L REALLY QUICKLY I clould be wrong about this but this is the only way I got it to work personally.

This is how I've always done it- 1. Sell the Hearts/Stamina to the statue 2. Save the game 3. Go back and buy back your Hearts/Stamina from the statue 4. Immediately after buying them back, do the glitch at the Shrine. 5. Once the glitch works as shown, load up the Save from before at the statue 6. Ask for the Hearts/Vessels the statue has, it should have it from when you sold them and you already bought back the others so just add em to the collection :) 7. Repeat until satisfied Then just continue like usual. If your paraglider has issues, save then close the game then reopen it, should work as it should again 👌✨️

Hey, someone please help, the glitch stopped working for me once i saved and loaded back after getting max hearts and stamina. I reloaded the game and had 3 hearts but full stamina, then i tried to make the glitch work again but it just stopped working. I'm doing all the steps properly as well but its not working. Please help Edit: it works. If it stopped working for you like it did for me, try this: sell your hearts->save game-> buy them back and then do the glitch. It worked for me that way. Hopefully it works for you too. And when saving the file, try climbing up on the hill and save when link is on the hill, in the middle of the climb

Well, I discovered a glitch within a glitch. After nearly maxing out all my hearts ( 2 from max ), I decided to add 5 to my stamina wheel. This resulted in it removing all my hearts when I entered the shrine but keeping full stamina wheel. As I did the glitch again, it removed what I had added to the stamina wheel, in essence, putting me back to square 0. So, just do one of the two at a time I guess. Don't mix match or it breaks.

here is a better version. go to the statue and give it the hearts (keep 3) then save. do the glitch. then go back to the statue and save before getting the hearts again. rinse and repeat. my lil bro found this out lol.

I tried it and once I reloaded back into the save file with less essences, I couldn’t buy back my essences I don’t know if I did something wrong but I loaded into an older save file and got them back

I like how easy the glitches in this game are, both this and the duplication glitch worked exactly as advertised with no wiggle room. Only time they didn't work, was when I messed up a step on the duplication glitch (ie, not dropping all of an item).

If anybody has the same problem, I did, which was when I was done all of it and had my max everything when I paragliding I would fall really quickly to the ground but all you have to do is go back into the shrine, examine it, and then walk back out of the shrine don’t teleport it should make it, so you can paraglide and do everything. Normally I suggest saving once you get it all normal

Love your channel, I subscribed today. I can confirm this still works. I did run into a glitch that I believe was caused by this one. After I got my hearts full and my stamina full, anytime I tried to paraglide I would drop to the ground almost as fast as normal falling. All I had to do was teleport and that fixed it. Thanks for all the good videos!

That's okay. Finish the glitch and when you're done and you've saved, close the game and reloaded,it should go back to normal

You can take the hearts after you save than do the glitch and load the save before you collected the hearts and it still works

Just a note, if you do this as the first time you encounter the horned statue, he will take whatever you spent your first 4 orbs on, perform the glitch, then come back and take a heart or stamina without paying rupees. Takes longer since you can only do one at time this way, but at least it's free...

The apparatus storage glitch also has a ton of other cool effects... such as making you invulnerable to environmental damage. I did a three-hour livestream where I explored all of these effects in great detail. It was quite fun to play around with!

I wish I could explain it better in words, but the nature of this glitch makes defining the temporal events in a linear manner a bit difficult for me. I'm sorry.

Thanks for the video. Btw to get this to work I have to take all the hearts out and put them all back in between each loop. When I try it without doing that I cannot use the glider (you fall like a rock) and lose all the duplicated hearts when you renter the shrine.

Thanks for the awesome video. Worked like a charm. I was having trouble getting the timing for the ZL L and crouch right so I tried holding the ZR L and the crouch and it seemed to work better for me, so that is an option for anyone struggling with the camera bit.

This glitch also works with korok pond storage. This can be done without the camera and is faster since you don't have to keep doing the apparatus thing

@@diegoirizarry2333 jumping into a korok pond puzzle and pausing on a specific frame will induce the same effect as apparatus storage glitch. This is faster than setting up apparatus storage because you can just set up a save next to a pond and repeat as many times as you want. You don’t have to keep entering the shrine and you don’t need to complete the whole camera side quest/finding a memory. If you set the right save, you also don’t have to keep buying back your hearts. You can just keep depositing the ones from the save

This glitch has a tendency to remove all your hearts and essence and leave you with only three bars of stamina after you complete the last step (saving with your now maxed stats and closing/reloading the game) I fixed it by A: having link climb on a wall while I saved and B: making sure to press X to close the game instead of pressing Y to swap users. I’m not sure which one of this is the one that made the difference but you can never be too safe

Just had it happen to me too, but I noticed the shrine auto save had saved my progress part way through so I'd say enter the shrine one last time to save the progress
